Who cares about Miss USA?

MIss USAI've been amazed at the attention this whole Miss USA story is getting. It just proves once again how disgusting the gossip TV shows are, and how lame cable news is.

First off, the press conference that she held with Donald Trump (owner of the pageant) was broadcast live as BREAKING NEWS on the cable networks. At first I thought the Donald had used his hair to sled down Mt. Hood and rescue those guys, but that's another breaking news story. No, this news conference was to announce that...um, hot blonde chicks sometimes drink a lot and dance and party in New York City and do drugs. But she's sorry! And she thanks God for helping her! But mostly she thanks Donald Trump for letting her keep her crown. (Side note: can someone please tell me why Trump is always yelling? Whether it's this press conference or those PSAs for families he does on NBC, he's always yelling. He does know there's a microphone in front of him, right?)

The coverage has been insipid and inane. Did anyone even give a shit about the Miss USA Pageant before this? Seriously, the Miss USA Pageant? That's the one that's like Miss America, only it's...not. I mean, who cares? I know, you're going to say "Bob, you don't understand the flyover country! Pageants are a tradition!" Well, I think "flyover country" is a lot smarter than this. Does anyone even know the theme song to Miss USA? Do they even have one? "There she is, Miss USA, drunk on her ass..."

One of the more sickening aspects of this whole story is how they'll list her offenses: underage drinking, cocaine use, and kissing another girl. Um, are those the same thing? Personally, I think who she kisses is not some scandal. In the real world it's called "being a young woman who's had too much to drink."

So now Trump says she's going to rehab (the go-to place for not getting off booze and drugs but to rehab your reputation) and she's going to get a "second chance." Oh, and please watch the new season of The Apprentice, coming in January on NBC!

Tara Conner should have been fired for conduct unbecoming a Miss USA beauty queen. I quit the pageants years ago when the swimsuit competion was the bikini open. If wearing a bikini is a beauty queen from America then Donald Trump can take his beauty pageants and shove them up Gisella Castillo's sash. If he dares. HA HA HA HA!

Being a role model for young generations, specially girls who in today's world behave, a lot of them more like trakers, language and all, I think that Miss America should step dawn. She does not meet the requirment of the position. Second chances should be given in life, but not in this situation. Mr.Trump will be wrong if he does, It is a matter of pinciples.An example of what is wright and wrong, creating a bad precedent.If this pageant has any kind of real wholsome moral value as an example to a world that is slipping morally everyday, not to mention taking the chance away from one other lady that may be total suitable. Very wrong if she keeps the crown.Is like saying "It is O.K." All goes. Not so.This is a different type of competition. I do think that she should get the help. No doubt about that. God Bless

The Great Puppet Caper continues.Mass media's job is to keep us fool's busy while the darkside rakes us over the coals.Think about it.It can't be any more obvious.Entertainment has become a vechicle of deception.All is not as it seems.Who wasn't getting hammered and partying at 20.I sure was. this is a 62 year old mans view of things,why do we always make a big deal of underage drinking,i say if you can deside to fight and protect your country, and you can vote at 18,get married, but the goverment feels your to stupid to drink,what a joke, the girl only was a few days from 21,now they want to say she has a drinking problem lol, let her and are young people enjoy thier youth,

The reason Donald is always yelling into the mic is that hes the Alec Baldwin character from 30 ROCK...oblivious to his dumbass as a public speaker. The Don is Great in real estate, but a douche bag in other areas.

I can not believe how every one bows to some clown who is a grown man calling himself the Donald and acting like he is the High Lama of the watch. This guy files for Bankruptcy ever time he turns around. He is not my idea of a roll model and I can now understand why he gave Ms USA a second chance. She is most likely in his dating pool now.
