Pauly Shore admits to punch-out hoax

Pauly ShoreI know, I know, we were all hoping that Pauly Shore actually got his face punched in at an Odessa, TX comedy club, but as we found out pretty soon after the video debuted, the whole thing was a hoax. Pauly went on Access Hollywood last night to explain why he set up the staged fight.

According to him, the entire crowd in the comedy club was in on the joke. He told the members of the audience that the heckling and the fight was going to happen and instructed them to record the whole thing on their cell phone cameras.

In fact, he has a video where he tells the crowd about the scheme and directs them as to what to do. Apparently, he was making fun of the entire viral video phenomenon, calling anyone who picked up on the video and reported on it as fact "irresponsible." He went on to say that "I think you have to check your P's and Q's, so it's almost me making fun of the paparazzi and getting back at them."

Whatever. My advice? Do a better acting job, Pauly. I think most of those "irresponsible" people who picked up the video had an inkling it was fake as soon as they saw it.

Of course what the previous posts fail to recognize is that EVERYONE in that club knew it was fake. But look how it has spread throughout the Internet as truth. I think the people who took the video and spread it are more to blame than Shore for doing it. It just goes to show you what the common person will do just so they can say, "Look what I have" and get 15 seconds of worthless fame. It also proves that you can't believe anything you see and that you should do your homework before judging someone.

Yeah, Pauly, it's almost you making fun of the paparazzi and you getting back at them... almost. But not really. What it looks like for certain is a sad, puffy little man-boy desperately craving the media attention of his glory days. He probably sits around all day eating & pouting & watching the E! Channel jealous of Paris & Nicole & Lindsay thinking, "I used to be as hot as them."

Imagine that, Pauly Shore trying yet another avenue to gain attention. One of my co-workers interviewed him, and she said he was one of the creepiest, sketchiest people she'd ever met. In fact, he completely flipped out when she tried to ask him questions about the "wuh-easel" and his publicist ended the interview.

Hey, it might have just been a ploy, but at least I got my dollar from him after writing to the address for that "minding the store" crap.

Obviously this was all part of Pauly Shore's pathetic attempt to become the host of "The Price Is Right".....
