TV Squad wants more bloggers!

tv squad angry tvThat's right -- we're still looking to bring on more talent to the TV Squad team. And like last time, we've got some rather specific qualities we're looking for in the people we bring in. Specifically:
  • You're a huge fanatic (I mean incredibly so) of at least one of the following shows: Lost, American Idol and/or 24. (Seriously, when we mean fanatic, we're talking you'd never miss a live broadcast of the show.)
  • You've got the writing chops (duh).
  • You watch the Eastern time zone feed for these shows (some people in other time zones might have satellite access to Eastern time zone airings, so that's open to you).
Does this sound like you? If so, read on for more details.

To apply, email three original writing samples (these must be applicable samples, as in things you'd see on TV Squad) along with a bit about yourself and why you think you're a good match to appsATtvsquadDOTcom. Please don't simply direct us to your blog or former pieces of work, and DO NOT send attachments of any kind. We'll update this post when we've found who we need. Please do not apply in the comments below -- only emails to the address mentioned.

It's hard to tell if they forgot to tell us if they found somebody new. The blogger who did an entry on Jan. 12 for 24 is the one who does the blogs for House. Does that mean they just made their current bloggers do more work or are they still searching?

Oh, and we're coming up on the boycott deadline... Maybe TV Squad won't post anything new for those 10 minutes...

Do you think they've already found their bloggers and they're just not telling anyone yet? Negotiating for their corporate accounts, establishing their entourages and the sort until they break the big news in a nationally covered press conference, or news crawl along the bottom of the screen depending on the importance of it and which top-rated show is airing at the time...

Yeah yeah you're going on and on about '24' but what about the most intense drama ever to grace the national airwaves? 'The Idol' returns and I can't wait. They say it'll be more like season one, so does that mean a derth of talent, one or two breakout stars, overinflated egos and chia-pet hair! Will The Dunk return to banter bitterly with the heir to the Dick Clark throne? Will 'Seacrest Out!' stay out, or make a triumphant return? Will Simon and Paula finally consummate their long, tired, played out sexual tension? Will Simon and Ryan? Will Randy never get any love? Everybody knows Jack will win the day, but with 'The Idol' we don't know anything! :)

Then we'll go back and continue surfing the site, and move on with our lives.

Dave, I would be happy to give you my therapist's (AKA Mommy) number, but I think she wouldn't like me giving it out. Heck, there are family members who don't even have it. Sorry.

Adam, I am thinking I haven't gotten the job either. I haven't heard anything. I am hoping that maybe they will consider me for the chats. I do miss them, and would be happy to do them for a t-shirt or something.

Yeah, the show is only 4 days away... and there haven't been any updates on this site nor emails to my inbox. I really hoped to get the position, but this is looking a little grim based on the absence of a response. Oh well. I wish we'd find out one way or the other though.
