The Wire comes to BET

WHY IS IT THAT THERE ARE SO MANY HATERS AROUND...PPL LOOK AT THE WIRE AND SAY "OH MY GOD..THATS WRONG..LOOK HOW THEY PORTRAYING US ON TV" I'M 18 AND I'VE LIVED A FEW YEARS OF SEEING SOME OF THE STUFF THATS ON THE WIRE..WHY SHOULD WE PUT UP A FRONT LIKE EVERY OTHER CITY AND MAKE IT SEEM LIKE WE'RE SO DAMN PERFECT..YOU ALWAYS SEE THE PARTS WHERE THE CITY APPEARS SO NICE ADN PROPER THEN A MENACE COMES AND JUSTICE PUNISHES THEM BUT YOU NEVER GET THE ACCUSSED PERSONS SIDE OF THE STORY..SOME PPL IN THE WIRE HAD SERIOUS REASONS TO DO SUM OF WHAT THEY DID WHETHER IT BE MONEY OR THEIR PARENTS PRESSURE..THE WIRE SHOWS CRIMINALS BUT IT ALSO SHOWS THE JUSTICE SYSTEM HOW IT REALLY IS..YOU HAVE CROOKED COPS AND ALL THAT THE WIRE IS RAW AND REAL THATS WHY PPL HAVE SUCH A PROBLEM WITH IT BECUZ PPL HAVE A PROBLEM WITH REALITY AND IF PPL WOULD LOOK AT THAT INSTEAD OF NOT PAYING ATTENTION THEY WOULD UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THE WIRE..IF NOT THEN HEY JUST DON'T WATCH IT BUT DON'T DOWN TALK PPL WHO ARE DOIN MORE WITH THEIR LIVES THEN YOU ARE..CASE CLOSED

More stereotypical programming on BET...nice. Exactly when will BET start showing programming that uplifts the black community, like TVOne? Isn't that what they're supposed to be about? I guess Flavor of Love reruns will show up there next.

I'll watch the old shows on BET as I just started watching/got hooked, this past season

why did this take so long to get tv squad? or was it posted a few weeks ago as well? if they are in order then its a great/easy way for people to watch it (i.e. my mom). i might just add it to her tivo over the net so she can call me and ask why there is a new show not called law and order or csi on her tivo.
