Battlestar's Tricia Helfer will appear in the next Playboy

Tricia HelferOoooohhh, this is good news... good news, indeed:

Tricia Helfer, who plays one of the Hot Cylons -- Number Six, to be specific -- on Battlestar Galactica, is scheduled to appear in Playboy next month. She's a former Victoria's Secret model, so it's not like this is the first time she's been photographed nude or scantily-clad; heck, just call up her name on Google Images and you'll see plenty of examples, from Maxim and other sources. It's just that Playboy does things... I don't know; they just do things right. Whether the airbrushing looks more realistic, or the fact that they surround their models in shimmering fabric (or hay bales or fountains or whatever...). Let's just say that they'll treat her well there.

I know Playboy is a bit passé these days, but I'm still always intrigued when I hear some reasonably big name decides to appear there. So, who do you think is the next one to show up there? My money is on one of the Desperate Housewives, and yes, that means I'm including Eva Longoria. Anyone want to make a guess?

I agree with the comment made by another. Grace Park didn't seem to need a stint in Playboy to confirm her Babe status so why should Tricia. Its been my experience from watching past celebrity Babes that once they appear in this magazine they get a lot less popular. Namely Joan Severence, Mariel Hemingway and there are others I can name. These women are beautiful to say the least. We've already given our our confirmation of this by the popularity of the show. I think shes made a mistake and I hope it doesn't come back to bite her in that fine behind.

Anyway---EVERYONE MAKE SURE YOU TUNE IN JAN. 21 AFTER Dresden Files TO SUPPORT OUR FAVORITE SERIES!!! TIVO IT IF YOU MUST, BUT MAKE SURE YOU WATCH IT LIVE AS WELL!!! Well, gotta go, there is Playboy w/ Ms. Helfer awaiting me.(Ha)

Hey cress d! It is good to hear from you again. I trust the holiday season was kind to you.

Obsession? Nahhh...call it loyalty from a fan for a tremendous actress. I have not seen the Playboy pics of Tricia Helfer yet. You are right though, she is a beautiful lady (good actress too). Since you are a fan of hers I can only say that you have good taste. You can do far far worse than the lovely Tricia Helfer for a fan following!

ps: Where was my paper statue christmas present of Grace Park you promised! (ha-ha)

Tim-1..I dig your Grace Park obsession. She is awesome. But I have always luved Tricia Helfer. And the pics in Playboy..have ..me...er...speechless. Excuse me....I must go pick up my tongue from the floor.... :)

Grace Park doesn't need to be in playboy to convince anyone of her superbabe status. Her remarkable acting ability and stunning great looks stand on its own merit. Grace Park is and always will be NUMBER ONE in my book.

No offence at all to the lovely Tricia Helfer.
