Celebrity Big Brother Five begins (UK)

by Martin Conaghan, posted Jan 3rd 2007 10:05PM
Dirk BenedictThe most popular reality TV show in the UK, Big Brother, returned tonight for the fifth series of its celebrity edition and will air every night on Channel Four for the next month.

Among the 11 guests to enter the house were Danielle Lloyd, an English model and former Miss Great Britain; 79-year-old film director Ken Russell (The Devils and Tommy); Jo O'Meara, former member of the pop group S Club 7; Leo Sayer, a pop star mostly famous in the UK with 1970s hits; Shilpa Shetty, a truly gorgeous Bollywood actress; Carole Malone, a columnist for the Sunday Mirror newspaper in the UK; Donny Tourette, lead singer of Towers of London; Ian 'H' Watkins, former member of the pop group Steps and Cleo Rocos a comedy actress who made her fame on The Kenny Everett Television Show in the 1980s.

However, of interest to readers in the USA will be the inclusion of Jermaine Jackson, former member of The Jackson 5 and brother of Michael and none other than Face Man himself, Dirk Benedict from The A-Team.

Benedict stole the opening night show when he arrived outside the Big Brother House in an A-Team van, smoking a cigar.

I could be wrong, but this year's debacle looks like it might just be worth watching.

It would be an act of friendship for middle east (India particully) if Shilpa won cbb-uk!!!!!!!! that´s the way for india forget the acts of racism that shilpa has been suffered.... and it is also a step in a right away between the relations of middle east and ocident. Go Shilpa!!!!

shilpa is a very intelegent lady, who i feel is mistreated by some of the house mate's especially Danniele and jade,it seem the lovely actres try's her very best to plese all her house mate's but now seem's to feel so unsecure and ristricted to what she can and can't do.and i strongly feel some of the girls in big brother don't just want to get along with shilpa which is unfair,it seem's to be races attack on her and it should get investigated by big brother.so far shilpa has been strong but she is on a breaking point because of the verbal abbuse and critism she has to face.

Shilpa is a very attractive asian babe!,i think she and the house mates that were left in the main house did not have much of a say in the matter. It seemed to me that curtain house mates manipulated things so these three would stay there;i heard a couple of the girls joyfully say, "we wont have to put up with Kens snoring anymore".This is one of the reasons i think those involved should pay the full price of being servants!!.They will have no sympathy from me!!.
