What to Watch Tue., Jan. 23
Veronica Mars (9PM, The CW)It's State of the Union night (see below), which is usually a television wasteland. For those of us who don't care to watch an hour of meaningless babble, 'Veronica' comes to the rescue. Last we saw the perky detective, she caught the campus rapist and broke up with boyfriend Logan (why, I still can't figure out). Now, she and Papa Mars are on the case of the dead dean.
NOTEWORTHY

Luke asks Lorelai for a recommendation letter in his custody suit, and she finally comes to her senses and dumps Christopher (that last part's just wishful thinking).

Academy Award Nominations 2007 (8:30AM, E!)
'Borat' all the way!
Ancient Discoveries (9PM, History)
We promise this look at the Siege of Troy won't have Brad Pitt screaming "Is there no one else? Is there no one else?"
