The Riches to premiere on March 12

eddie izzardGood news, Eddie Izzard fans! FX has finally set a premiere date for his new dramedy, called The Riches. It will premiere on Monday, March 12th. The cable network hasn't announced a regular time or day but one can assume Monday nights will be it for The Riches.

The Riches stars Izzard and Minnie Driver, who I think will both be attempting to cover up their British accents. They play a couple of American con-artists who take on the identity of a dead couple and move their family to the suburbs to live an "honest" life. It kind-of reminds me of My Blue Heaven, that movie where Steve Martin has to live a crime-free life in the suburbs.

You can see promos for the series here.

I haven't "had a show" since Buffy the Vampire Slayer went off the air. It is so great to have the Riches to look forward to each week, and I love to watch each episode more than once. The acting is superb, and the story lines keep you glued.
In episode 4, what is the name of the song that Minnie Driver is listening to while she is laying in the couch after smoking a doob with the neighbor? Right before the Jewish welcoming committee knocks on the door?

Never before have I seen a show with such unbelievable talent!! Eddie & Minnie are simply amazing. I haven't missed a show and hope not to. Even the child actors are great. I am a very conservative person and deeply grounded in my Lord. I thought this show would probably turn out to be a little too harsh for my taste, and while I don't think anyone younger than 16 should watch it, I find myself hoping Wayne and family will somehow come out on top even though they are theifs. I can;t believe I just posted this, but as they say...........When you're HOT, You're Sizzlin'. Thanks FX for another all time favorite!!........................S. J. L.

Far and away the best new show on TV in a long time. The writing is brilliant. The cast is brilliant. The direction and production are bold and original.

The Riches is simply one of the best shows on television. If you are a fan of drama, comedy, and action - this is the show for you. The Riches stars Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver as a family of con-artists who steal the American Dream. The dialogue is witty and the acting is superb. If you haven't seen the pilot yet, don't wait another minute! Once you watch the first 5 minutes, you'll be hooked. There's a magic to the show, one that steals your heart and leaves wanting more. I can't wait until the next episode. I want to see how the characters develop. Eddie and Minnie make a dynamic tandem; the soundtrack is eloquent and inspired. Kudos to FX for bringing America a show with complexity, character, and spirit.

I wasn't too impressed. Eddy has done AMAZING work with his accent but he TOTALLY doesn't come across as deepsouth scrub at all.
I'm going to keep watching because, while I think the storyline is kind of doomed, it shocked me over and over again with just how rich the characters are.
Okay, what was eddy qouting at the end of the show?
