Goodbye Armed & Famous

erik estradaWell, Adam called it. CBS has pulled Armed & Famous off the air, after four episodes (there have already been four episodes?!?). The series raked in a measly 1.4 rating during its most recent episode on January 24th, just barely beating The CW's Beauty and the Geek. That final rating was less than half the ratings of the premiere, which got a 2.9. There are three more episodes of the show and so far there's no indication from the network whether they will be burned off on air. Don't be surprised if they show up on Innertube, though.

Armed & Famous was pretty much doomed from the start. Even though it got a bit of press, it was still a 'reality' show about a bunch of not-so-famous people who become cops in a rural Indiana town. Pseudo-celebrities Erik Estrada, Jack Osbourne, La Toya Jackson, Wee Man and some blonde chick apparently weren't interesting enough to grab ratings. Duh.

Watched the show. thought the show was funny because I am a police Officer. I think reason that the show did not cut it. You need action!!!. If they want the stars to be real cops, PUT THEM IN THE HOOD. dont put them In dept where they go lights and sirens to a alarm call.

I am currently a Deputy Sheriff and work patrol. I loved the show and am truly sorry to see it go. This was the real deal. What these celebrities faced on their calls for service is what law enforcement officers face every day and night. It was not glamorized. It was just good, entertaining television. They took their jobs seriously and, I believe, were a credit to the Muncie P.D. I hope a cable network picks it up.

I didn't notice this show was out till I stumble on it on youtube, and after viewing the footage, I was impress! Today Wednesday, Feb 14th almost 8 olock, I was eager to watch it and noticed on the TV guide, it didn't display the Armed & Forces. Later on that day I had to google it and sadly discover the show was pulled off. I hope somehow Armed & Forces could find its way back on Air.

What is wrong with people today. They have a wonderful show Showing the grouth in confidence in Miss Jackson as she preformed as a police officer. When she got so caught up in stopping that pervert and ran after him with no reguard for her safety. And Mr osborne talking about rehab and the importance of attending meetings everyday you could feel how much he believed in it gave me goosebumps.Shame on people who hated it but would have loved it if Miss Jackson did this topless and if Mr Osborne was shooting up.Shame on the terrible network that didnt realy give this show a fair shot .Lets give it a new time and show it again. As for Erik Estrada what a terrific man who respects his Mom.Maybe people would be happier if he kicked the dog and slapped his Mother .Shame on viewers

I loved the show. I used to be a police officer not far from there so it was cool to see places where you were familiar with and they weren't faking anything. It was the best reality show so far. I am so sick of American Idol. It was time for a reality show with some guts and this one was it. Erik Estrada still has it, Jack Osborne has it goin on now and Latoya has straighten up I actually like her now, she really seems to care about people. This show was awesome and man it was a real disappointment when my kids and I rushed home from the gym to watch the show and we see this disgusting show in place of it and we are like where the heck is our show? My son is freaking out cause they are basically disecting a human at 8:00 instead of a cool cop show, it doesn't make sense, thanks CBS and your insane marketing people that don't seem to touch base with reality!!!! (no pun intended!!)

As a retired Director of Public Safety, I have found this program to be the best of the reality cop shows. As a retired Law Enforcement Officer I was impressed with the officer of the department and the way law enforcement was shown. I would be proud to have any of the officers I saw on the show to include the stars, and applaud their work as police officers

I for one am sorry this was cancelled. My husband,an ex cop, and I started watching this show to make fun of it, but soon changed ou minds. These ladies and gentlemen really are taking this job seriously and when they do goof up they listen and improve. We really would like to see the whole thing. Any other stations besides vh1 that we can watch it on?

I really liked the show alot. Everyweek I would check to see if it was on. I was really disappointed that it went off of the air. I am hoping to see more of the shows. I think in my opinion that Trish Stratus isn't some blonde either and it shouldn't of had been said in that way. The show inspired me in ways that alot of shows hadn't.
