K-Fed parodies himself in commercial - VIDEO

by Jonathan Toomey, posted Jan 30th 2007 3:04PM

K-FedI am not a Kevin Federline fan. I think he's a complete fool. However, despite the fact that he probably got a boatload of cash for doing the following commercial, I have to give him credit because he seriously takes a jab at himself in this new ad for Nationwide Insurance. You know, the ads where the slogan is "Life Comes At You Fast?" MC Hammer did a similar ad about a year ago.

So while Britney is all over the tabloids for her crotch-flashing exploits, turns out the former Mr. Spears is raking in the dough taking advantage of his new found celebrity status. The commercial, which officially airs during this Sunday's Super Bowl and apparently has the fast-food industry's panties in a knot, is after the jump. Be prepared to laugh.

I think that this ad and the heavy viewership from the Super Bowl could help his rap album sales. His talking about it could help it. His Playing with Fire album sold 6,500 its first week and hasn't done well since. But maybe this commercial is to recall people's first jobs at fast food restaurants before moving on to higher paying career jobs. The struggle and pressure from demanding managers. And yes, I have seen it at fast food restaurants when I order something, what goes on behind the counter. I don't know why the restaurant business is going after Nationwide and Kevin Federline when they should know that this happens on a daily basis at fast food places.

I didn't see anything wrong with this commercial. And I think that is is doing a good job at getting himself out there. I watched CIS the other dy and he was on there. I must say he is better as an actor (he should do comedy), then a singer. His ex was on a talk show last month and said that he is a great father. He is doing better then..what's her name..Britney. She is out of control and what little respect I had for her is gone due to her actions since she has become a mother. I see Kevin doing better then her this year.

Yeah, good for K-Fed: If your talentless ex-wife can get press, so can you!

Best thing? I think you're forgetting a little something called "Popo Zao".

That is hilarious! I give credit to anyone who can literally make fun of himself while the whole world is watching.

That's great. But the Fast Food people need to shut up, nobody has any respect for fast food jobs, that has been a long-standing joke.

It's pretty sad when this is the best thing that has ever come out of Kevin Federline's career. Maybe he'll realize there's a much bigger market in making a fool of himself than anything else and will stick to if.
