Jennifer Hudson has no love for American Idol

This chick is way too full of herself. She's doesn't have any original material out. All remakes. It's one thing to sing somebody elses song in a very unoriginal voice. It's another thing entirely to have your own music. I doubt she makes it. My advice, the partying and congratulations are pre-mature, she has no real musical accomplishments yet.

The gracious thing to have done was to thank AI for the exposure and move on. Her personality is not very nice. As for those of you who truely believe that God got her where she is without AI just remember that the holy book also encourages us to work for what we want or it won't come. She did her part by going on AI even though she disliked it, she did it, and got noticed by people who helped her after she helped herself to AI exposure.
It seems like a case of the dog that bit the hand that fed it. She was ungrateful.

Doesn't it always seem to end up this way? Where would she be without the exposure she got from Idol? No one said it would be easy, either way. Now she has to prove she just isn't a "flash in the pan". She would do well to remember other Supporting Oscar winners of past years who seem to have fallen off the radar. My take on Simon is that he is the most truthful of the judges. He may get booed when he gives a negative comment, but he sure does get applause and agreement when he says something positive or really likes a contestant. Randy is OK, but Paula needs to just go away.

Nobody gets "kicked off" AI. The public votes you off.

I remember reading in the gossip rags when Jennifer was on AI that she was a diva b*tch and didn't get along with any of the other finalists.

It never ceases to amaze me how we ALWAYS go for the juglar when someone speaks honestly and candidly. Jenifer Hudson has the right to honestly share her experience on American Idol. When Cowen said what he said to her it set an avalache in motion in her life that could have either devistated her or pushed her forward. We need to know that the power of the tongue is no joke. It seemed to push Jennifer forward to do what only God and she knew she could do. I've heard her do several interviews and she never spoke against American Idol. Lets be more positive people. The Girl has got it and no one BUT God, whom she gives all the Glory, is responsible for her talent, not 'AI'. Get over it and give the girl her props.

In my own opinion, Jennifer was just giving her opinion. She's big now and people are going to want to hear her opinion of American Idol. If Carrie wants to thank Idol, that's her - leave it at that. No one can sit here and blame Jennifer cause she told the truth. It's simply ignorant to sit there and call her names and say negative things because she's moved on from Idol and said her piece. God would have brought her to where she is one way or another and it really is sad to see how people want to bash on her...and just to let the world know, Ruben is a star and is making money in gospel and other things...have you not heard how popular his new single is??? Do your research buddy!

She just need to say what she trully feel who deserve it well, for american idol it's your lost not her's.

how can jenifer say that about american idaol. would she have been successful, yes most likely, but would it have been so quickly i do not think so. to think she would have made it to dream girls is far fetched. taylor hicks is a good singer . do i think he was the past last season, no. is winning american idol helping him, definately.. do you think if he was on american idol let alone winning it he would have a CD today, uh think again. shame shame jen.

i was a jenifer hudson fan along with , lotoya, and dianna digarmo. i do believe that jenifer got knocked off alittle to early. i think besides digarmo any of the other two should have been in the finals. hudson had a powerhouse voice and a remarkable ability to change notes from high to low , low to high within a split second. she as all contestants got critizism as well as praise. i remember one week wher she got the most votes and simon said she by far the best that night. i guess she for got about that. to hear a comment like that from simon is something that she should not forget. i am sure that all the judges were shocked when she was exited. to say that she never wants to look back to me makes me believe that she is only upset she did not win. that show as definately helped her in a singing career as well as the acting career. how should she thing otherwise. i liked hudson and don't believe she should have made those comments and think she should apologize. in fact she should thank american idol.

The saddest thing about this whole blog is that it shows how a lot of you Americans love to see people ridiculed and abused on television. That is what American Idol does. I watched it with my kids one night and could only stomach about 15 minutes. The look on one poor kid's face when Simon made fun of not only his voice, but his clothes and the way he spoke really hurt my heart. If you can't see that Jennifer has real talent, talent that has been evident since high school (and yes we will know her name a year from now) and more than likely would have gotten the role in Dreamgirls through other means. We all knew her here in the Windy City and it was more than obvious she was going places. And if you don't know this already than take note; Simon has a production company that signs the winners of the contest. He is about making money off those kids and he throws aways the ones he doesn't think will fill his pockets!
