Kitchen Confidential coming to DVD

This was a fantastic show. The writer was from Sex in the City and it had a great cast, I can't believe it was canceled so quickly. I'll be buying these for sure.

The un-aired episodes are the best, and worth watching 5, 10, 100 times. I found these online and have had a few marathons drinking parties watching these. They seem to appeal to guys/girls alike.

If the DVDs go for around £20 I'll get it.

I only saw one episode and that was with Michael Vartan and it was hilarious but I think that was because of Michael otherwise the other characters seemed pretty ordinary. So I will rent it to see any deleted scenes and comments from Michael Vartan arising from this episode.

The Vartan episode was the first one I found funny and the following episodes were even better with the introduction of an ambitious female sous-chef causing troubles in the kitchen.

The "rabbit" episode was easily my favorite.

Not sure I'd buy the DVDs though. The short lived series was breezy but worth owning? Errrr not so much.

Though, seeing Bradley Cooper jumping off a window in boxer brief may be worth it. Slow motion is a wonderful thing.

It was actually smart and funny. And the lead was an attractive male rather than old and fat. Nice to have some male eye candy in a comedy. But I've learned that the dumber they come, the longer they'll be on the air. Personally, I think it kicked the ass of Knights of Prosperity, and for some reason everyone loves that show.

I loved this show and thought it was hilarious. I'm so glad that they're putting it on dvd. A quote from the great John Cho (who played Teddy):

"They're serving everything with frisee, the awkward lettuce. It's like eating somebody's Afro."

I thought they had a good one with this show. I'd rent it just to see the remaining shows.

the Michael Vartan episode did air -- he was a rival chef -- the Cooper character ended up hiring his bread maker away from him. There was at least one more episode that aired after that one where Nicholas Brendon had to go down into the cellar to talk to the breadmaker, and was scared of him and his workspace. So the Vartan episode wasn't the last one to air, but it would be easy for people to make that mistake as badly as this show was treated. if I didn't have a DVR, I don't know that I would have found all the episodes that did air.

Given the cooking-competition shows that have gotten popular, I'm really surprised that this one hasn't been aired again or wasn't paired up in some way with one of those shows. At least we'll finally see them all.

Nine episodes that didn't air?! Damn Fox, could have tried a little harder. It has to be better than War at Home and 'Til Death.
