I am not a conservative or a liberal, I am a Libertarian thus I see humor in both liberals and conservatives. From reading the comments, I have noticed a hatred and the normal, "racist, bigot, homophobe, etc., ad nauseum", comments that you would expect from liberals. This is quite intriguing since the comedy is 180 degree diametrically opposed from the liberal slant of the daily show. Fox has two issues, they should have put this on FX or Fox, which means that they would have to put American Idol on one less night. Two, Fox did not do enough to promote this show in the way that American Idol, Jon Stewart's program, CSI and other programs are promoted. This is quite an interesting comment board.

They left out the main ingredient for a comedy show. COMEDY!. This show sucks in so many ways ridiculous. From the fake laughs to the neonazi slurs of the constitution and civil rights. Its more typically right wing crap that the FOX news network is famous for.

I'm conservative, but this has got to be the least funny thing i've ever watched. only a few funny jokes, plus the host are awful. you could pull someone off the streets, give them a teleprompter, and they could do better. IMHO, it's not racist or offensive or anything, it's just painfully unfunny. I hope it gets better, but for now, I can't see ANYONE laughing.

Breathlessly brutal. Please advise the writers to NOT list this gig on their resumes if they want to work in comedy or journalism. What is up with the laugh track? Was that the cue that something was supposed to be funny?

God that clip was painful. The jokes were fairly generic and played out. But the worst part was the laugh track. I didn't realize conservatives cackled like that. They should have just taped a Daily Show episode and used their audience as the laugh track.

I missed the show, darn it, but to get under the skin of so many socialists it's got to be great. For those that think Obama is black...he's a chocolate muslim...that would be acoording to New Orleans mayor...at least the chocolate part. And for those "republicans" that can't laugh, they're just one step away from the socialist trap. Where's the "great one" when you need him?

The show was funny.. people need to get back to laughing at themselves.

Pretty Sad, I can just feel the "I hate Bush" venum ozzing out of some of the postings.

I seem to remember The Daily Show pilot sucked as well. Most pilots do. They get done on a shoestring budget and have such a poor production quality that its amazing anything ever lasts on the air.

It's a wait and see but I suspect the liberal spinmiesters will do everything they can to get show off the air.

Unfortunately, I must agree that the show was not funny. I still have high hopes, but it seems that we conservatives are only good for the grown-up stuff. One positive thing is that the Liberals are upset....that always makes me happy.

Also, race-baiters & hypocrites please go away. You can dish it out (TDS) so, you better learn how to take it.
