What About Brian: What About Temptations

What About Brian(S02E15) People should really start watching this show, especially if you've never seen an episode before. In terms of the show and its characters, everything is re-starting and beginning again. So it's a prime time to get into it because at this juncture, everything that happened before is starting to reach the point of irrelevancy.

That being said, there's a lot going on now to make up for the fact that most of the original storylines and dilemmas are dying off. New characters are being introduced, new romances are popping up, and the same mentality that got me hooked on the show finally seems to be resurfacing: everyone just wants to get laid.

First up to talk about is Brian. It seems like he's finally getting more of the story as the title of the show suggests he should. From his new haircut, to the new video game development job (he's back working with Dave!), to his crumbling romance with Briget, there is a lot going on with him right now. He seems to be doing well with the fact that his father is now an international criminal at large, but I'd probably be fine with that too if Stacy Keibler moved in downstairs from me.

Dave and Deena are finally headed back in the direction they started. He's moved back in and all signs point to them getting back together. The whole naked scene was funny stuff though. They both looked like a couple of ten year olds who just got a glimpse at their first porno mag.

Now as I mentioned, the cast is changing a lot. Another regular has been added in Tiffany Thiessen's new character, Natasha Drew. It's a bit of an interesting dynamic since she used to be Dave's intern and now she's his boss. It looks like she's got some interest in Adam so we'll see where that goes.

Speaking of Adam, I absolutely love where his story at work is going. He wasn't made a partner but he was placed on a new team who apparently has some shady stuff going on. Shady as in evidence tampering. This brings up a ton of questions, but most importantly, I want to know if Jimmy knew. And if so, has he been keeping quiet?

With all the changes, I'm very impressed with this show all over again. It took some time for it to find the right groove and I like where it's going.

i love this show!!! and in fact, i love Nicole's manny just as much! but, to get an opinion from all, will this show get cancelled soon, after all, it is in a terrible time slot, and to see it go would jus kill me.

Actually, What About Brian is doing quite well comparatively. It's holding it's own against Studio 60, but if ABC advertised the show a little more it would most likely do a lot better. In the mean time, ABC is probably happy to have a show that can nearly beat Studio 60 for half the cost and with next to no advertising.

And I agree with the reviewer... it really seems to be catching it's stride lately.

What about cancelled? Last nights episode scored a 4.0/7, which was slightly worse than about-to-be-cancelled "Studio 60."

Quality issues aside, ABC brought this show back to revive it and that's not going too well. ABC should have given "Brian" more than a single episode after "Desperate Housewives" before sending it to Monday night.

If ABC had thrown "Grey's Anatomy" to Monday after one episode in a cushy time slot, it would have bled to death just like "Brian" is doing now.

I like the new direction of the show and it's overall reboot, but can't say that having Tiffany Thiessen really heats it up.

I like the storylines of the guys hooking up with all the hot women. My own pathetic life leads me to living vicariously through TV characters.

Please bring back the sandwich girl.

I am really impressed w/ this show! I have watched it since it began- thought it was cancelled and now am being re-introduced to this cast!
I love Deean and Dave and I am rooting for them to get back together. I also want to see Bridget and Brian work ( although I doubt it).
I was shocked when Sarah Lancaster left, but I think that Tiffany Theissen is a great addition to an already great cast.

This show keeps getting better like fine wine! With Tiffany Thiessen on now, I'm sure things will get cooking. Looks like she is going to be a regular on the show from seeing the introductions last night. She draws attention to audiences and has played some great characters in past shows. I'm not sure if I like Brian's haircut. Maybe when it grows in a little more, it will look better. But I still love his smile. Seems to me that Brian is trying so hard to settle down and temptations keep coming his way. Plus he just can't say no because he's such a nice guy. What about Nicole and her "Manny" Jamie sharing a kiss? Now we have to wait 2 weeks until the next episode.

I'm sorry, but Tiffani ("don't call me Amber") Thiessen is the poor woman's Heather Locklear. Her presence on the show is a sign of desperation, and a further indication that this is turning into a "Melrose Place" that takes itself too seriously.
