Strangers with Candy co-creator to helm FOX pilot

Paul Dinello, one of the co-creators of one of the greatest TV shows of all time, Strangers with Candy, and the man who played gay art teacher Geoffry Jellineck on the series, is set to direct the new FOX comedy pilot Me & Lee?

The pilot is called Me & Lee?, just to clarify. I didn't want you readers to think I was asking you whether or not Dinello is directing the pilot.

The "Lee" in the title refers to Lee Majors, who helps a man with chronic back pain by performing "bionic" surgery on him in his secret laboratory.

I'm not sure if Lee plays "himself," some parody of his Steve Austin character from the Six Million Dollar Man, or an amalgamation of both, but I do know that with all this pilot news coming out, it's nice that at least a few ideas aren't trapped in the brain-loop of hospital dramas, police shows and supernatural series. If done right, this sounds like it could be really funny. If it fails, at least it was an original failure.
