Miss USA takes it off ... should we crown Sanjaya?

Tara Conner takes off her crown. Tara Conner you have made yourself quite a presence as Miss USA in the last year. If any of us in the television world had forgotten, you were the tinder that caused the fire between your maker Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell.

It wouldn't have been a reign without having an opportunity to watch you take it off. The crown that is.

In a highly orchestrated voice over, written by a devoted Trump employee, you gave us a small reminder that the Miss USA competition is tantamount to mob rule, where the boss is truly boss...
Although we all know that Trump owns this and many other trophy wife incubators beauty pageants, I guess you really did owe it to the man for saving your butt towards going down the road of other excommunicated beauty pageant contestants, such as Vanessa Williams. He also took quite a public display of tongue lashing defending your honor, which had been unseen before you.

With all this hoopla said and done do we even know who the new Miss USA is? I say we crown Sanjaya who has been newly immortalized on this past episode of Saturday Night Live.

Move over crying teenager Ashley, you've got to share the Kleenex box with this SNL alum who is crying tears of joy over Sanjaya too.

Ahh Sanjaya, You've got great hair, "Fanjaya's" and teenagers crying for you. You really have it all don't you buddy?

Just because your opinions are different than the American voters for the next American Idol, doesn't mean that yours is the only vote. How did Sanjaya get on the show in the first place? Judges Paula and Randy and yes, Simon. Now it's all up to the voters so Simon needs to be careful what he wishes for. He just might get it.
