Don't forget! The Sopranos and Entourage return tonight

EntourageOK, so no one has to be told that the final season of The Sopranos starts tonight at 9pm on HBO. After all, there have been tons of news stories about it, if you haven't heard (there might be a spoiler or two at some of those links). But don't forget that Entourage also returns tonight, immediately following The Sopranos at 10pm.

Remember when April and May used to mean the season was winding down on all of the networks? Now here it is Easter and the cable networks are just warming up. Everyone seems to be waiting for Tony and company to come back, but I'm more excited about Entourage. When we last left our heroes, Vince had ended his relationship with agent Ari, so it's going to be interesting to see where they go with the storyline.

Thanks for the Easter candy, HBO!

I *ahem* somehow was able to see the first episode of the new season and believe me, it's proof that The Sopranos is one of the finest TV shows ever created. Top-notch acting by everyone, and it's also seriously funny at times. Nothing on network TV comes close to the brilliance of this show.

I'll watch 'The Sopranos' to the end, only to see how it all ends up, but it should have wrapped things up a couple of years ago - before David Chase had to start stealing his own plotlines from 'The Rockford Files' to pad out episodes.

They're totally different animals, but I'm also excited by the return of 'Entourage'; especially with the addition of Carla Gugino to the cast!

I'm with you. I'm more excited about Entourage -- not that I'm not also eager to see Tony & Co. -- only because that series isn't on the decline and in its final stretch. The Soprano's will be great to see, but it's been a few seasons since its prime, which is closer to where Entourage still seems to be.
