Raver: "Surviving" on 24 is "quite a feat"

Kim Raver *For the handful of people who haven't yet watched the latest episode of 24, there are spoilers ahead.*

Actress Kim Raver is profiled in this week's People Magazine where she talks about her return to 24 as Audrey Raines and how charming actor Kiefer Sutherland can be.

On the topic of "Audrey's not quite dead yet:" Raver said she's a romantic and thinks Audrey and Jack Bauer should be romantically reunited, adding that "you die when you just look at him [Bauer]."

On the topic of Sutherland being a gentleman: "Well, if you're at dinner, he stands up when you get up to go to the ladies' room." But if you're playing a terrorist on 24, I wouldn't advise getting up to use the facilities unless Jack gives you permission. You might wind up hanging by a chain. Or missing your jugular.

A Jack-Audrey pairing was never in the stars in 24 land. I suspect their relationship was based upon lies and deception. Sort of a spy vs. spy deal. Although I don't think Audrey will turn out to be evil. She had a legitimate reason to lead Jack on. As Jack had a legitimate reason to lead her on.

If I'm right, it will be revealed either at the end of this season, or during the next, that Jack has already hooked up with another lady.

The primary plot was not discarded. It may be hard to fathom at this point, but EVERYTHING that has happened this season will end up being connected, one way or another.

Im glad she's back, even though you kinda knew it was comming.. The whole "Oh yeah she died in a car crash in China" was just to easy, and i would love it if the whole rescue misson becomes the main plot now!

It is interesting how they seemed to bring the primary plot to an early close.

Or... did they?
