Someone's gonna die on Smallville

Smallville -- who is gonna die?

Can you smell it in the air? That's right, the strong scent of May sweeps. Some things are always true, April showers bring May flowers, and May sweeps bring big events on TV. Smallville hasn't been immune in the past, which is why Jonathan Kent is (sadly) no longer with us. But who else is going to kick the bucket?

Sources say that one of the four major characters, Clark, Chloe, Lana or Lex will die by the end of this season. Now, through simple deductive reasoning, I think we can assume that it isn't going to be Clark, since that would end the series pretty quick. We know Lex has to be Clark's eternal nemesis, so that takes him out of the running as well.

That only leaves Lana and Chloe. If you go by the comics (where Chloe doesn't exist), Lana lives on past the younger years, so that unfortunately leaves Chloe. Chloe is definitely a fan favorite, and we'd hate to see her go. She's provided some of the better storylines since the show began, and often serves as the catalyst who gets things going.

Who do you think it'll be?

Personally, I love the entire cast. But iam sort of sick of the whole Lana and Clark thing. I think it will stink if Allison Mack goes, I think she is very likeable and talented. I also hate that i'm hearing season 7 is the last one. I've been watching the show since day 1! The writers and prducers are outstanding. Well, as far as Michael Rosenbaum goes, I'm going to definetely, without a doubt miss him. Good luck Michael I know you will do amazing things. To everyone else love you all and love the show!

Always a fan,

April

Soiler warning........

You saw Lex's face when Clark blaimed him to kill Lana. I think Lana faked her own death because she knew Lex wouldn't leave her alone otherwise. She will come back to let Clark know she's ok but not untill he's devoted to Lois. So we won't be seeing Lana anymore. I think Smallville will end when Clark decides to become Superman and Martha makes him the suit. So we'll still see nice things like Clark fly before the end of the series.

Well... supposedly Lois gets shot and Chloe's power has something to do with saving her. My idea is that the two will fuse somehow, and Chloe's power is some sort of ability to become a symbiote.

I have been watching this show from day 1. If they kill off Lana, then I am done with this show. I have been waiting for the day that Clark and Lana got back together. This is TV, they don't have to follow comic book history.

In years past I would've hoped it was Chloe. But this year her character has grown on me. Guess she just needed a boyfriend.

Lana, however, is grating my last nerve. Please let it be Lana.

Hey! Lex isn't coming back for the next season (as I read rumours). Who says it can't be him. People died over and over in Star Trek before (giggle). It could also be Lex's dad.

What if Lex dies, but is frozen like Walt Disney. Maybe they save his head ina jar like on Futureama.
