Chicago would be the best location! Nuclear plants, Chicago River, Sears Tower, etc. But Washington DC is the hands down winner.

My suggestion is to bring back David Palmer - saying that they had him in seclusion to heal the neck wound and to protect his life. Some terrorist bombs the President's State of the Union address and kills the pres and vp and speaker. The american people vote in David Palmer as president and off we go......

Ricky Schroeder is death to every series he ever works. Contributed to downward spiral of NYPD, etc. Is he trying to be a 21st Century Bill Bixby by popping up on a million shows? 24 has gone a long way downhill from Dennis Hopper in its surprise guest appearances

I was incredibly excited when last season ended with Jack being taken to China. I thought that writers were setting us up for this season, with Jack escaping from China and CTU helping him from afar. I think they really missed the boat by having another nuclear threat in LA. They did they same thing a couple of years ago, when the season ended with President Palmer getting a biological attack, but in the new season he only has scars, raher than picking things up right from that moment.

The writers have toyed with the China connection, now they should use it

We're all not thinking "network" here - - with all the success of the spinoffs of Law and Order, CSI, etc., is there any doubt that the writers and producers are setting up a spinoff?! These guys wrote Miami Vice back in the day, and there were two attempts at introducing new characters to try to make spinoffs possible. There was actually one pilot shot, though, that NBC didn't pick up, with a "young" set of characters. I'm thinking they introduced Doyle, Natalie, and brought back Milo, and they are going to keep them on for next season, then move Doyle back to Denver or somewhere for a 24 spinoff in 2008 (season 8). Then, in Season 8, KS's last contracted season, its bye-bye Jack, and KS will executive produce the new series, if it has been successful for that first year and been picked up. Seems very logical, and ensures the span of 24 beyond Jack. Although - Doyle is gonna have to work hard to inspire some loyalty at CTU if he's gonna be the Jack equivalent! Jack Bauer is THE most persuasive human being TV character ever!!!

I think it should get set in New Orleans. We could use the publicity and money like nobody's business.

I've always loved 24, but agree w/ RedStarRevolution, 24 def needs a change of scenery. let's off the VP, hav wayne palmer b deemed unable 2 carry out his duties as prez, get sum new dude as prez and let CTU get bombed (after all, the guys @ 24 LOVE explosives), killing most of Jack's BFFs. As Jack's in severe emotional pain, he seeks revenge on the SUPER EVIL bad dudes that blew up his buddies.

i think it would work in america outside of ctu OR europe... I dont honestly care, as long as they change the storyline and the settings because they are basically the same every single season... my personal pet peeve is "moles" along with "presidential conspiracy"... honestly, 24's producers REALLY hate the presidency, lol, b/c just about every year there is a revolt against the president or a plan by the president that is treason or something (ex. President Logan), and every year there is some sort of mole or suspected mole in CTU... honestly, CTU really needs to update their security b/c just about everyone seems to find a way to sneak in... and how does EVERYONE know how to hack into computers??? honestly....

yep, there's my rant on 24... regardless, 24 has a lot of work to do or they will start losing viewers... for locations tho, i suggest these few out of the past suggestions: philadelphia, chicago, miami, boston for "in the US", and london, prague, or berline for "out of US"

couple suggestions out of my own tho... how about Naples, Venice, and Rome in Italy.... after all, everyone knows the current mafia lives in Naples.... lol, but it would be cool to have jack in a boat chase in Venice, like in the Italian Job or 007: Casino Royale....

or maybe..... From Russia with Love.... Jack Bauer style...

I think season 7 should take place in both L.A AND New York City.
