Angry about the upfronts? Here's who to contact

by Adam Finley, posted May 16th 2007 2:38PM

rageDo you know how many e-mails we get here at TV Squad from people who think we're actually in control of what happens on television? Way too many.

We can answer (or try to answer) any question you might have about television, but if you write to us begging we bring Everwood back, there's not much we can do for you. We just write about television, we don't make the shows. If I had my way, Wonder Showzen would still be on the air, but I don't, and it isn't.

We recently received an e-mail from a reader, Nathan, who suggested we provide some contact information to coincide with the upfronts (that time in May when networks announce which programs are staying and which ones are going) so people could complain to the appropriate network about their favorite show being canceled. It's not going to bring your show back, but what the heck, it's nice to vent.

This information can be found with a little Web sleuthing, but since we're such nice people, here you go:

ABC:

ABC, Inc.
500 S. Buena Vista Street
Burbank, CA 91521-4551

Phone: (818) 460-7477

Or, use this online contact form

CBS:

CBS Television Network
51 West 52nd Street
New York, NY 10019

Phone: (212) 975-4321

Also:

CBS TV City
7800 Beverly Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90036

Or, contact CBS online

NBC:

NBCUNI.COM FEEDBACK
100 Universal City Plaza
Universal City, CA 91608

The CW:

feedback(AT)CWTV.com

FOX:

(NAME SHOW HERE)
P.O. Box 900
Attn: FOX BROADCASTING Publicity Dept.
Beverly Hills, CA 90213-0900

Obviously, you would put the name of the show you're asking about where it says "NAME SHOW HERE."

@David - doesn't that just mean that you watch only the lowest common denominator unchallenging shows like american idol?

None of the shows I watch were canceled but I would like to bitch about all the major networks picking up what seems to be awful shows.

I was going to write that surely there can't be people that stupid in this world, but then I remembered who got voted in for a second term two years ago.

For NBC you can also call 818/840-4444, which is the NBC switchboard. Ask for the viewer comment line, which will let you leave your comment as a voicemail. NBC does not offer a direct number to the comment line - you must go through their switchboard, making it appear as though they don't actually want viewer feedback.

Could you all post a link to an example of one of those e-mails that blame you all for the cancellation of a show cause I think that would really boost me with some much needed laughter.?
