TV Squad Daily with Brigitte - VIDEO

by Brigitte Dale, posted May 29th 2007 5:43PM
Hey, Brigitte here with TV Squad Daily. I'll be covering the TV stories I find interesting each day, Monday through Friday, in this video blog.

Today on TV Squad Daily:
  • The Jericho nut-protest situation continues to grow.
  • Women falling, being told to take off their dresses, and quitting at the last minute... the Miss Universe competition was more of a circus than ever this year.
  • A Dutch reality program, Big Donor Show, has three contestants all competing for one donated kidney.
The video's embedded below (we'll have the downloadable files soon). You can also subscribe to this podcast via our feed.

I don't know why it is so difficult for Americans to keep apart Sweden and Switzerland. Brigitte, I don't know if it is your source or just you - but it's miss Sweden who had a problem with the competition and quitted - not Miss Switzerland.

A suggestion to Brigitte:
the lights (well, maybe it's a natural light source) you used in the first part of the video you posted on May 11th 2007 were really good; color contrast was perfect and your eyes looked fantastic: a really beautiful blue.
I noticed you never used those lights again, and even if the color quality of your recent videos is good, in my humble opinion in that post was better, especially to render your expressions.

Anyway, your show is always great!

The dutch people are sickos.

And Jericho fans are nuts. I hope CBS is enjoying them. If they get to many I'll take a few tons.

Nuts can be very healthful if you eat only a ton or two at a time. The problems arise when you eat all 27 tons in one sitting, without really meaning to. Moderation, you know?

And what's the deal with reality shows, anyway? I thought people like to watch TV to escape from reality. That would explain the popularity of Fox News.

Wow, is that dutch reality show just a joke? A sick joke...please tell me that isn't something they ACTUALLY plan to put on television screens!
