TV Squad Daily with Brigitte - VIDEO

by Brigitte Dale, posted Jun 1st 2007 6:50PM
Hey, Brigitte here with TV Squad Daily. I'll be covering the TV stories I find interesting each day, Monday through Friday, in this video blog.

Today on TV Squad Daily:
  • Pirate Master hurts to watch.
  • Paula Abdul's still talking about her personal life. Hoping, no doubt, to drum up interest for her reality show Hey Paula that debuts later this month.
  • The Daytime Emmys are opening up to online content. That may not mean a whole lot this year, but it's a step in a good direction!
The video's embedded below (we'll have the downloadable files soon). You can also subscribe to this podcast via our feed.

Regarding the reality show in the Netherlands about a woman supposedly going to give a kidney to an ill renal patient, which turned out to be a hoax, I wondered from the start how someone with cancer dancing around in her body--even if solely in her brain--could in good conscience donate anything to another. And, I, for one, would have said, "Thanks but no thanks, just in case."
No, I am not ill with kidney failure or disease, nor obviously am I a medically trained observer.
