Mega Man just doesn't get it - VIDEO

by Adam Finley, posted Jun 9th 2007 12:03PM

mega manSome of you may remember a cartoon series that aired in the mid-'90s called Mega Man, based on the Nintendo video game of the same name. The series had something to do with Mega Man, a cyborg of sorts, battling an army of evil robots or some such thing. Whatever, the plot really isn't important, because it has nothing to do with the video I've placed below.

The folks from OvertimeComedy.com have dubbed their voices over a short clip from Mega Man to create "Lack of Social Awareness Mega Man." Instead of battling the forces of evil, Mega Man tries to convince his pal that Six Feet Under is the greatest show ever, and that he should come over to his place and watch it on DVD.

YouTube videos featuring old 'toons re-dubbed with funny dialogue isn't anything new, but I think this one is really, really funny. It's right up there with those G.I. Joe re-dubs that the kids were all talking about several years ago (link is NSFW).

Anyway, enjoy the video.

I currently have The Super Mario Bros. Supershow on
DVD, and I have watched Megaman in his own cartoon
series. Yet compared to the recent version, I somehow
liked the funny-voiced one from Captain N: The Game
Master, and always figured he'd return to voice the series,
but they ultimately got a different person to do the 1994
cartoon series. Ever since then, I've actually been hoping
Megaman would be available on DVD. To answer this dub,
I mega-hope the Megaman mega-cartoon series is coming
mega-soon to mega-DVD. Mega-Hi!
