Las Vegas sued for $10 million

Las VegasThat's the TV show, not the city.

Two writers are accusing Dreamworks of stealing ideas, plots, and scenes for the NBC show. The two writers, one a graduate of NYU and the other a writer in Hollywood, are saying that Dreamworks actually read their screenplay Fringe Players seven years ago. The screenplay was optioned by Fox after being read by Dreamworks.

That's the one thing that might - and I stress might - make this suit a little bit different than the typical "you stole my idea!" lawsuits we see in Hollywood every month. I guess it all comes down to what exactly those ideas/plots/scenes were and who read them, and what kind of documentation the writers have.

I wonder if one of the scenes had a woman in a bizarre dress on top of a casino, being picked up by the wind and carried away?

I am a huge fan of the Show Las Vegas. I recently purchased the 1st season on DVD. A large part of my fandom has to do with the gorgeous women on the show. I have missed Nessa and decided to do some research. I discovered her character was written out after the 2005 season. You have that right, but I am sure the fans have missed her as I have. Her beauty worked and the British accent only added to that attractiveness.

Big Loss.

The story doesn't mention why they waited four years to file the lawsuit...
