Still more cast changes for Boston Legal
Everyone have their Boston Legal scorecards out? Good, because there are a few more changes to the fourth season line-up in addition to those already mentioned a few weeks ago. So, get those pencils ready.
If you recall from a few weeks ago cast members Constance Zimmer, Julie Bowen, Mark Valley and Rene Auberjonois were let go from the legal comedy-drama while John Larroquette was added to the cast. Now it turns out that Valley and Auberjonois will be returning for multiple episodes next season. Apparently Auberjonois' character, Paul Lewiston, will still be a senior partner at Crane, Poole and Schmidt; however, Valley's character, the very uninteresting Brad Chase (end editorial here), will go up against one of his former CS&P colleagues in court.
Also appearing in multiple episodes next season will be Saffron Burrows and Gail O'Grady. Burrows (Reign Over Me) will play a commercial litigator who once had a passionate affair with attorney Alan Shore (and, really, who hasn't had a passionate affair with Alan). O'Grady, who appeared in several episodes last season, will reprise her role as Judge Gloria Weldon and continue her heated relationship with Alan (again, who hasn't had a heated relationship with . . . oh, never mind).
Finally, add a new full-time cast member to the bottom of your roster. Taraji P. Henson (Hustle & Flow) will be joining the cast later in the season as a new corporate lawyer brought in by John Larroquette's character, Carl Sack, to wrestle more political power from the firm. Hmm, looks like some corporate intrigue is coming down the pike for next season.
