TV Squad Daily with Brigitte - VIDEO

by Brigitte Dale, posted Jul 6th 2007 5:20PM
Hey, Brigitte here with TV Squad Daily. I'll be covering the TV stories I find interesting each day, Monday through Friday, in this video blog.

Today on TV Squad Daily:
  • It's becoming pageant tradition. Miss New Jersey is fighting a photo blackmail battle.
  • David Beckham is definitely filming his own separate reality show now, and I bet they'll be able to get more than one hour's worth of footage from him (sorry Posh.)
  • Is it personal or political? The creator of The Simpsons says there's no way the new British prime minister will follow in Tony Blair's footsteps with a guest appearance on the cartoon.
The video's embedded below, or you can subscribe to this podcast via our feed. Plus, you can also download the file directly.

I appreciate the kind words; it's very kind of you to say so. I'm perfectly willing to live with a mix of supporters and detractors. I know I'm not for everybody.

Thanks again!

Patricks comments border on creepy. Your's Jim are funny and amusing. But your probably showing a bit too much OCD here on this thread. :D

But I am with you all the way on the many qualities of Miss Dale. I think we haven't seen nothing yet.

...and for anyone who feels patronized or otherwise truly hurt or offended by anything I've written, I sincerely apologize.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I certainly don't mean to patronize anyone, nor do I feel any particular need to prove to anyone how smart I am. I'm just someone who happens to enjoy writing. If y'all could imagine me writing each of my posts with a smile on my face, you'd have a better idea where I'm coming from. Despite my propensity for making a lousy first impression, I'm a lot more affable than you probably see me.

Have a nice day!

You don't write very well. Your patronizing tone and know-it-all arrogance suggest that your life purpose has degraded into punching the F5 key while dreaming up new ways of showing everyone how s-m-r-t [sic] you are. Go outside and get some fresh air. You reek of picked-last-for-dodgeball syndrome. Why don't you provide us a witty name for that perfume?

I'm a writer. That's what I do. Write. (Short enough for you?)

How about people who write long, multi paragraph responses to video podcasts. Then comment on their comments as well as everyone elses comments in similar long, multi paragraph babbling responses that span half a dozen (on a slow day) entries while subtly insulting people who call creepy fanboys out for being creepy. Meanwhile the rest of us just want to pop in, comment, and leave. Unfortunately large blocks of completely unrelated gibberish clutters the comment section. Yeah, i'd call that the creepiest of all. Let's hear that long drawn out response huh? Ready, set, go.

So glad you're entertained, although I can't determine who's creepier...

1. Off-the-wall incurable romantic-stalker types like Patrick who just don't know when to stifle, OR
2. The flamers who don't seem to realize that flaming total strangers is passé and that any jerk can cast insults, OR
3. The children who entertain only themselves by inserting vulgar language into Brigitte's comment section.

Take your pick!

The rest of us are simply ardent fans of Brigitte!

While I enjoy the videos, I love the comments even more! They're delightfully creepy and pathetic.
