TV Obits: Burns, Franklin, Wilson

A roundup of TV people from in front of the camera and behind the scenes who have passed away.
- Pete Wilson: He was a veteran, award-winning news anchor and talk show host for California TV station KGO-TV. Over the years he also worked for KRON-TV and KTXL-TV. He died in Palo Alto from a heart attack during surgery. He was 62.
- Bart Burns: He was a veteran TV, film, and stage actor who appeared in such shows as Columbo, Lou Grant, The Rockford Files, Baretta, Banacek, Daniel Boone, McCloud, Kung Fu, Dragnet, The F.B.I., Laredo, The Twilight Zone, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Gunsmoke, and many others. He played Pat Chambers in the 50s Mike Hammer show with Darren McGavin. He died earlier this month at age 89.
- Richard Franklin: Though he was more known for directing such big screen movies as Psycho II, Roadgames, Cloak & Dagger, and F/X2, he was also a director on Beauty and the Beast, Flatland, Homicide (60s show), and The Lost World. He died of prostate cancer at age 58.
