Some chick gets a reality show on E!

kim kardashianWhat does it take to get your own reality show these days? Either you have to be the enabler mother of a problem child star, or you just have to know someone who is useless and famous. The latter appears to be the reason that some chick named Kim Kardashian is getting her own reality show on E! She is friends with Paris Hilton.

Who is this person and why do we care about her? Well, we probably don't care. But, this Kim Kardashian person is the daughter of the late Robert Kardashian, one of the lawyers on O.J. Simpson's "Dream Team", and the step-daughter of Olympian Bruce Jenner. There's also a sex video floating around the internet that features Kardashian-- but at this point, who doesn't have a sex tape? Her show is being produced by Ryan Seacrest, who says her "Brady Bunch-style" family plays a big role in the series.

E! refers to 26-year old Kim as a "socialite", so I interpret that as her not having a job or any sort of responsibility. I guess that's the M.O. for E! these days.

Kim Kardashian spent tens of thousands of dollars on plastic surgery and then leveraged her semi-famous last name to become the latest celebutant.

Oh . . . that don't forget the sex tape that she released a few months back. It had her 'boyfriend' peeing on her.

Classy!

Spade had a great segment on his show this past season.

"And now this week in ... (graphic pops up) who?"

(Commercial for some unknown celebrity's reality show on E!, of all places).

Spade: "WHO?!?"

I replay Spade in my head every time something like this comes along. : P
