Big Brother 8: Live feeds update - August 16

by Jackie Schnoop, posted Aug 16th 2007 7:43PM
Big Brother 8 - JamekaTonight's live eviction Big Brother 8 eviction show should be anything but run-of-the-mill. I predict Jule Chen will flub something new and different this week! No, that's not a spoiler, it's just an educated guess based on past experiences.

But, if you read on past the jump, you'll see how it seems (this moment in time) the vote will go down. Who will go home? Although these houseguests tend to waffle right up to the last minute, I can tell you the latest.

Beware -- show spoilers ahead!

In my last update I spoke of Mini-Mad Hatter, a barbershop quartet, white rabbits, playing cards, a pirate on stilts, and various clues. Yes, this is Big Brother. Would I lie to you? Despite their best efforts and dozens of theories, the houseguests haven't really come up with anything concrete for the clues. Yes, lots of speculation, but that's all they have.

In the wee hours of the overnight period, a Daniele, Evel Dick, Jessica, and Eric alliance came to fruition. They made a pact to make it to the final four. Now, they have to swing either Zach or Jen's vote to evict Dustin as both had intended to vote off Dick. They think their best bet is to swing Zach over as they know Jen has lied about many things just to plant seeds of disruption in the house.

Before heading to bed after dawn, Eric and Jen hid a bunch of items hoping to make others think another visitor came in and there were more clues to follow.

If all goes well tonight, as in Dustin is evicted, the plan for next week is to put Amber and Jameka on the block. If the veto saves one, Jen is backdoored. Dick really wants her gone because she's the strongest player not really trusted by any alliance.

Dick and Daniele had more thorny snit moments as Daniele decided that Eric has to be evicted soon. Dick told her that if he follows through on this deal, he deserves to stick around. Although both Dick and Daniele like Jessica better than they like Eric, it's Jessica who's weaker on the thought of the alliance with them. Of course, Eric most likely will get the word that he has to cast a vote to evict Dustin since "America" wanted him to get him on the block. He has his own reasons to ally with Daniele and Evel Dick.

In other tidbits of news from the house:
  • Jameka is sure it will be a double eviction because of the bunnies yesterday.
  • Dustin is getting worried. He joked about wearing his King's robe out to talk to Julie, but he's very concerned something is up. He's been quiet and looking all serious. He's also tried his hardest to figure out the clues from yesterday's invasion.
  • Dustin questioned Zach about whether Evel Dick and Daniele are making any deals. Zach sidestepped the question.
  • Since Zach gave a crude hand gesture at Dustin's departing back, I have to assume that he got the word to switch the vote. But I didn't see Jessica talk to him, so I may be wrong on that one.
  • Lots of housecleaning got done today. They forget we have to watch their pigsty day in and day out.

I agree with Dante. ED is an evil dick alright. Can you imagine the falling out he and Danielle will have if either wins? Apparently the reason they never spoke for two years was over money. Just think of the fireworks if there is real money involved. That would be worth watching.

WOW, I can't believe what I'm reading ! hello it's a TV SHOW, it suppose to entertain us. just like America All of you have a choice and I'm guessing you have a 100+ of other channels to choose from. not sure if its rigged or not, but it is entertainment do I like everything I've seen and herd or agree with it NO, but I choose to continue to watch. everyone just lighten up. i promise you no matter who gets voted off or wins will not change anything in your life you'll still have to go to work the next day.

thanks for the updates Jackie

I ask myself how can any woman who watches this show actually pull for ED(every dick) and Danielle? But then I see an actual woman(jen) from the show vote to save him after she was so verbally abused. He even poured tea on Jen's head. And like Jameca said, Danielle does not know anyone in the house because she spent all of her time laying in bed with Nick." So women are pulling for a woman who has cheated on her boyfriend and a man who has cheated on two wives and verbally abused all but one woman in the house.
Richard has bullied the jweish guy, women and the gay guy calling them horrible names and yet some of the women pull for him.
Richard is a cowardly bully. He would never talk that way to a real man because he would get his worn out looking butt kicked. There is no way that man is 44 years old. He acts like a spoiled 5 year old and looks like a 64 year old.
Like someone said previously the people who run this show are desperate for ratings to allow a grown man to verbally and even physically attack people in such a prejudice hatefull way. I have noticed that Showtime does not show the same sort of editing favortism towards ED and Danielle as CBS.

My coworker whined about ED's evil abusive ways....NON SENSE I told her. I FEEL abused for weeks with Amber's crying and Jameka's praying for devine intervention! Apparently GOD's playing too and he must like Evil Dick!

Jessica's a cutie. I hope she's around. She and Jen in the final two would give me something to watch. I know it's a slow day at work when I'm reading this....

The show would be boring without ED, he is providing us all the entertainment.

Why would they nominate Jameka? She poses virtually no threat since she can't compete in HoH for the next 3 weeks. Amber needs to go this week.

The show couldn't have gone better. That smug look on Dustin's face was replaced with shock. Loved it!

Dani winning HOH will give time for her and Dick to get their alliances together.

Get that whiny Amber and hyporcrite Jameka out of their.

I would really like to see Dick and Jen at the end.
