Fall lineup for Comedy Central
Here's what's on the schedule this fall on Comedy Central:
September:
Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity airs September 16 at 9:00 p.m. Dunham is a comedian and ventriloquist probably best known for his puppet character, Peanut. If you want to watch a special featuring a man who was mildly popular fifteen years ago, check this one out. Here's a clip from one of his acts.
October:
Now we're getting into it. The eleventh season of South Park kicks off October 3 at 10:00 p.m. I'll be covering the show again for TV Squad, so make sure to stop by and leave comments. South Park is followed by the second season of The Sarah Silverman Program at 10:30 p.m.
Drawn Together also returns to finish off its third season on October 4 at 10:30 p.m.
Kyle Cease: Weirder, Blacker, Dimpler is listed on the press release as airing September 13 at 11:00 p.m., but is listed under the "October 2007" heading, so the "September" may be a typo. I hope that confused you as much as it did me. Anyway, the special features stand-up comedian Kyle Cease. Check him out here (link is NSFW).
The "Halloween Freak-For-All" will air October 27 and 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., featuring scary/funny programming.
Also debuting sometime in October is Kenny vs. Spenny, a reality series about two friends who compete against one another. The series originally aired on Showcase TV in Canada.
November:
The weekend of November 3 and 4 will be filled with programming from Comedy Central's various "Blue Collar" series and specials.
Also on November 3: Ralphie May: Prime Cuts, a stand-up special featuring the corpulent comedian.
"Thankxgiveaway Weekend" will feature holiday programming from November 22 through the 25.
