TV Squad Daily with Brigitte - VIDEO

by Brigitte Dale, posted Aug 23rd 2007 5:22PM
Hey, Brigitte here with TV Squad Daily. I'll be covering the TV stories I find interesting each day, Monday through Friday, in this video blog.

Today on TV Squad Daily:
  • Eww! But for a goof cause: Stephen Colbert's cast goes on Ebay tonight.
  • The contract that parents signed to allow their kids to participate in Kid Nation covers just about everything.
  • Is Wayne Newton joining Dancing with the Stars?
The video's embedded below, or you can subscribe to this podcast via our feed. Plus, you can also download the file directly.

Yay! Brigitte, you sound better and look; it hope the fever has passed and back to normal. Unlike those of us that hit a deer with their car, before midnight, and then next morning spend 3 hours in dentist's chair getting not just one, but two crowns...

WE- I was thinking tiny feet too!
Am I the only one that thought Wayne Newton was dead?

Anyone who signs a contract like that IS a bad parent. Sounds to me like they were expectin' some serious nastiness to transpire. Did I miss it? Do we know why the parents are trying to sue? I'm slowing down and prepared to gawk at that car crash.

I'm no lawyer, but if a parent signs all this, if CBS is not liable, then the parents should be. Bad parents.

Though, for the kids sake, they can't get in trouble for showing their wee-wee if their friend shows their pee-pee. Though, the cameramen and producers will go to jail, yes?

I did a Yahoo video search and the only video that turned up was a "TV Squad Daily with Brigitte"
After watching one, I watched about 50 segments.

"Absolutely Adorable, Smart and Funny"

I don't know your mother, Do I?

For some reason, I'm guessing that Wayne Newton has tiny feet.

It seems to me that Brigitte's sneers are bilaterally symmetrical. That makes her ambifacetrous.

I don’t know why anyone is surprised with the Kid-Nation-Parents suing. These parents are willing to throw their kids, completely unsupervised, into a city run by other kids and are further willing to let America watch as chaos ensues.

Bottom line, these people are (a) not too bright and (b) willing to do anything for money. So is it really a surprise that they’re willing to try to sue CBS even though they have no earthly chance of winning?

Also, I have to say I’m not entirely sure why everyone is surprised by the “sexually transmitted diseases” clause? These kids can be up to 15 years old. I don’t know about the female population, but a 15 year old boy who knows adult supervision is an entire city away, is trying to get some. Not might be trying to get some, or maybe trying to get some, he IS trying to get some. I say CBS’ lawyers are pretty on the ball myself

(For some reason that last comment sounds gross to me for in context of the discussion)

Patrick, Patrick, Patrick...

Firstly, rest assured... I NEVER thought you were just another pretty face... NEVER!

Secondly, while Wayne Newton is currently of Las Vegas fame... singing about a darling donkey shin, I can remember when he was a young man, singing "I Will Cling to the Old Rugged Cross" on an episode of Bonanza.

Thirdly, having said that, I'm glad you're not trying to suggest that I'm old... (although I DO remember when the Dead Sea was only the Very Sick Sea...)

Fourthly, the reason that the last concert that I saw was in black and white is because it was at my kids' elementary school, and they instructed them to dress in a white shirt and black pants, so gimme a break!
