Big Brother 8: Live feeds update - August 27
Tomorrow night's Big Brother 8 television show will include the Power of Veto competition, the Power of Veto ceremony and the America's Player task. Like Amber, I had a vision. I already know the outcome of these events. It was divine intervention. It had to be. I looked to the heavens and the answers came to me.Um, either that or I have the 24/7 live feeds from the house. Since divine intervention doesn't seem to visit my life often, I guess it's the feeds.
If you want to know spoilers for Tuesday's show, read on past the jump.
Now, I'm sure you're all most interested in the America's Player task, aren't you? Eric had to kiss someone. This could have been fun had America been a bit adventurous, but ... no. They chose Jessica. (Who's voting on these things? Teenage love whim girls?) I would have gone for an Evel Dick smooch, a Zach smucker, or even a Daniele peck.
Eric already kissed Jessica on Sunday morning. It wasn't anything to write home about then. She looked bored and turned face away from him to go asleep while he asked, "How was it?" Since he kissed her again today and kissed no one else, the task is done. It was no leading man kiss, mind you!
You tell me. Did Eric use the veto to take a nominee off the block?
Heck, no!
Amber is certain that she's the target. She's crying and she's praying. She's crying while she prays. She told Jameka that God is proud of her. I can only wonder what happened to her visions and God telling her she would win. Her latest vision is a final four of herself, Jameka, Jessica, and Daniele. I'm just not seeing that. Perhaps my vision is clouded with reality. I'm also not seeing her on America's Next Top Model. She said today that God put her in the show to be discovered as a model. Maybe I need a high-speed connection to see what she sees.
Jameka has started a trash Eric to Jessica campaign. She has Jessica's ear as a friend in the house, but Jessica is more smitten with Eric. It ain't gonna work, Jameka. Amber, wonder of all wonders, must have had an epiphany. It dawned on her that Dick, Daniele, Eric, and Jessica might be working together. Say it's not so!
What about Zach? He's not taking either the nomination or the fact that Eric didn't save him with the veto very well. He's not crying, but he's trying to campaign and it just comes off as clumsy or an unwanted lengthy intrusion to the others.
In the "How Dumb is Amber" game, there were new entrants today. Jameka doesn't understand Jen's "Jensa Member" shirt and has no clue about what Mensa is. Remember, she's a school guidance counselor and has mentioned having her masters degree. Jessica has never heard of Ikea. I realize that's a regional kind of thing, but it is a very well-known company.
Ohh, there was trouble in the house! The houseguests got yelled at by the BB voice -- not one word is to be spoken about Daniele and Amber's trip to NYC! Remember, that's on The Power of Ten Tuesday night at 8 PM ET/PT in most viewing areas.
In other house news, Eric is making plans to move near Jessica in Kansas. He'll work in the city and they'll date. One day they'll get married, have a house in the suburbs with 1.2 children with odd squeaky voices, and a dog. They'll live happily ever after.
Sheesh, no wonder people voted for him to kiss her. It's an adolescent love affair!
So, there you go. The big news is that the nominations remained the same. It's Amber and Zach. I want Amber to go.
