Big Brother 8: Live feeds update - August 28

by Jackie Schnoop, posted Aug 28th 2007 11:45PM
Big Brother 8' Daniele DonatoAs the eviction day on Big Brother 8 looms closer, just what have those happy hamsters in the house been up to? Have there been fisticuffs? Perhaps a brouhaha or two? Or, better yet ... a clandestine relationship between Amber and Zach?

You know ... share the block, share the love.

Although Tuesday is generally not a huge spoilers day, beware that if you read beyond the jump there will be spoilers for the Tuesday show if you haven't seen it yet and possibly for future shows.

You've been warned.

Okay, I'll be the first one to admit that today has been far from a thrill a minute. There have been many camera shots of a brooding Amber or a contemplating Zach, extended ones at that. But I'm hear to let you know the skinny that I can.

Eric is confident, at least while talking to Jessica, that he'll win Head of House on Thursday. I have to wonder if we'd get to pick both of his nominations if he does win. Who would we have him nominate? He seems determined to stick with the Dick and Daniele alliance and is keeping Jessica going in that direction.

But others are just as determined to knock Eric off of his pedestal that Jessica has him on. First it was Jameka trying to throw him under the bus, then it was Amber. While they try to sow the seeds of distrust and the show shows us Diary Room segments in which Jessica voices doubts about him, I'm really not seeing that on the feeds.

The second they finish talking to him, she goes to him and tells him. She likes and trusts Jameka, but not so much Amber. I think the Diary Room must be asking questions phrased so she responds they way she does to make things more cryptic. I think she trusts Eric and, actually that might not be a bad thing. If she could end up in the final two with him, she'd likely win because she played the game yet didn't really make enemies.

I'd know more, but as the BB taped voice says, "Houseguests, you are not allowed to discuss your Diary Room sessions with other houseguests."

Right now the vote still seems up in the air. Amber is sure she's going home although she had a vision of the final four being herself, Jameka, Jessica, and Daniele. Zach is trying to work his mojo any way he can to stay in the house. And, as I mentioned, Jameka and Amber are trying to cast aspersions on Eric's integrity in regard to Jessica.

In other house tidbits:

  • They're running low on food. They thought BB promised them a dinner tonight, but it's really tomorrow night. So they must go for their limited resources.
  • They still have an ant problem in the kitchen.
  • When Eric asked Jessica why she wasn't really affectionate, she blamed being in the house.
  • Amber still thinks a "good person" should win. In her mind, that's herself, Jameka, and maybe Jessica. The others aren't worthy of being "good" people.
  • Amber cried.
  • Eric told Amber that they will tell her Thursday before the show what they intend to vote.
  • Eric says he's taking a vacation until Thursday.
  • Amber once again went on about how proud God is of her. Blech.
  • Daniele suggested that Amber may have lied about having a daughter. Eric and Jessica don't really believe that.
  • Dick thinks both Amber and Zach have backstabbed him because they both went to Eric and Jessica trying to get them to backdoor him this week.
  • Jessica still has doubts whether she did the best thing for them by not putting Daniele and Dick on the block. She's worried that if Zach stays, he'll go to their side (D&D).
  • Eric reminded her they had an agreement with Dick and Daniele, but not with either Amber or Zach. It was the only move they could really make.
  • Daniele has had the hiccups on and off today.

I believe that Amber is going home...with america on voting ED and daniele voting too.. or maybe its wishful thinking..I have enjoyed watching it on Showtime at 1200.. keeps me informed...I think that Eric is playing a perfect game so far with all the weird crap that we have had him to do...He is still kicking and I know hell make it to the final 4, if not all the way

I believe everyone in the house is religious to some degree, but Amber and Jameka takes it too far. They don't even know how to pray for one thing,Nothing will ever happen for them for praying and being deceitful, lieing, backstabbing, and for generally having no game.

Slutty, I didn't say Eric hasn't lied, I said he never called Jessica a F'n whore. There is not one HG that hasn't lied at one point or another, Including the "good" girls.

I have to admit that the show is finally getting kinda good. Poor Amber. I think I am going to miss hating on her. I think Daniele has played the best game with the severest handicap..having that awful ED be RELATED to her. How embarassing. And that is why we all love the show. Finally. At last! And thank you to Jackie for tolerating all the boring parts of the feeds to fill us readers in on the good parts.

One question, how does Amber "know" God is proud of her? Is she using a two-way prayer line? If she is I think there's some static on the line and I think God may have actually said, Amber stop PRaying out lOUD. LOL

Steff, Eric has lied during the course of the season, the most obvious one being how Dustin got backdoored. Also, Jameka gave up five weeks of HOHs in an effort to help save Eric from eviction that week, so she has a right to cast doubt on his integrity. As I recall, he was pi$$ed that she didn't give up more of the prize to save him that week. If we have said how blind Daniele was regarding Nick, we have to say the same thing to Jessica regarding Eric.

The thing that really bothers me about Jameka and Amber is their constant praying. I don't believe that either of them are really religious people. People that are religious don't go around praying to G-d to not be put up on the block or asking G-d for whatever stupid request they have today. The producers edit the show so that it looks like "Wow, Amber and Jameka are SO religious." What a crock!

Brent, I have to disagree. After the POT, Daniele will vote for Amber to go, Dick will also. Eric/US will vote for her too. That leaves Jameka voting out Zach. No visions involved on my part, JMO.
After reading Joker's(sorry Jackie, I'm a BB junkie) I want Jameka to be thrown under the bus, back it up and do it again and again. The "good" people(ie: Amber & Jameka) are telling Jess lie after lie about Eric. If they are good people , please, when I die, stamp my ass ...Goes straight to hell! I really don't like those females at all...they are back-stabbing liars, each showing how evil thay can be to save their own butts to win the money! Talk about greedy. I'm praying too, praying Jessica doesn't fall for their nonsense. Amber told Jessica that Jen said,Eric called her a F'n whore!!! Oh my goodness!!! He never said that to anyone, let alone Jen.
Please send Amber to SH, and Jameka to follow next. Then as far as I'm concerned let the chips fall where they will. If Amber or Jameka end up in the F4, I may have to shoot someone...myself or Allison maybe? LOL

"She had a vision of the final four being herself, Jameka, Jessica, and Daniele."

And we all know how accurate Amber's visions are!

I can actually see Amber staying in the house and it's not hard to imagine. Jameka votes to evict Zach of course. Eric votes out Amber (on our instructions). D&D spend some time discussing it and eventually decide that although Amber is annoying as hell, Zach is more likely to win either HoH or PoV. Bye bye Zach.

If Eric wins HoH, then America's Player vote chooses one of his nominees. That was the stipulation from the AP vote they did at the end of the endurance competition episode.
