Big Brother 8: Live feeds update - more 8/31

Evel Dick at restYes, it's me again. If you're not a fan of Big Brother 8, you probably find me very annoying. But, honestly I'm a good person and I'm not just dishing out a spool of lies.

There has been more news and I must share it with you. In my morning update, I let you in on who won the Head of House competition, but now I know the nominations.

You don't want to wait until the Sunday show to find all of this out, right? It could lead to sensory overload or something. Read on past the jump for extreme spoilers for the Sunday show ...

Zach won the Head of House competition with Dick coming in a close second place. There were bits and pieces blocked to the feeds, but the houseguests tend to discuss things so we still get the skinny.

I mentioned a telephone call won by Eric and given to Jessica. She received the call today and it was indeed her brother in the service and a friend. It turns out he came home from Iraq since she's been in the house. He's safe and, more importantly, he's home. She has often mentioned him and is obviously very proud of him. So, that was fantastic news and Eric did a very good deed indeed.

Throughout the day Zach talked with all of the other houseguests, but I think he had his mind made up on a target before he even won the competition. Dick bent his ear from the start and Daniele used the Nick Card to gain his favor. But they aren't his target(s).

He wants Jameka out.

Of course, that fills the needs of the Little Julie Chen Alliance -- Eric, Jessica, Evel Dick, and Daniele. Daniele kind of wants Eric out, but that doesn't seem to be the easiest route to take this time. Eric is very worried that he's a target and, if he goes on the block, he just might go home.

Zach approached Eric with a deal that if he agrees to vote out Jameka, he won't be put on the block. Who to put up? Zach went for Jameka and Jessica on the block. Although I haven't heard them say Jessica is a pawn, it's definite that Jameka is the target and they plan to evict her 3-0.

If Jameka wins POV and saves herself, that will open up a can of worms. Mmmm, mmm, mmm, it's all good. (Yes, that's my Jameka impersonation done via keyboard. Maybe I can go on America's Got Talent, eh?)

The Power of Veto competition featuring Janelle from seasons 6 and 7 should be held sometime Saturday. I'll keep you informed, for sure.

Ok, as for putting ED and Dani on the block, that would just be stupid, anyone sitting next to either ED or Dani in the final 2 is almost guaranteed a win as nobody in the house has ever really liked these two. If it were me, I would want one of them with me in the final 2. So, why evict them? As I see it, the only chance Dani has of winning is if she is sitting next to ED in the final 2 and ED has no chance of winning, the best he can expect is #2.

Just wanted to say thanks for the updates. Don't have live feeds or showtime. Without you, my Mom and I wouldn't know what was really going on this season. Thanks for your hard work!!

Double evictions go like this (at least it did last season):
1. Vote on first eviction.
2. HOH competition (probably a quiz).
3. Immediate nominations.
4. POV competition.
5. Vote on second eviction.
In other words barely a moment for the Chenbot to mangle a question.

Thank you Brandon.

Thanks Brandon, do they crown the new HoH on the spot or do they have a competition to determine the HoH ? And does it all happen on one night?

A double eviction night works like this:

1st. Standard eviction (ie. one of the two on the block are evicted.
2nd. A new HoH is crowned
3rd. New HoH has to nominate two people on the spot.
4th. -possible PoV competition/ceremony
5th. 2nd eviction.
6th. Another HoH Competition.

QUESTION....in a double eviction do both nominees go regardless or do they do something else/if not can Danielle use the power of veto and then Zach gets rid of both Jessica and Eric with and agreement with ED and Danielle. I don't know, someome clue me in. Thanks

Just a note - Danielle won PoV. And Terry, you're incorrect. Jameka and Jessica are on the block.

Zack..you big dummy!!..wait, what am I doing?( I am a good person, I am a good person). What was the purpose of putting up Jameka.she cannot compete for HOH yet. Well he did get it half right and put up Jess. I don't get it. Zack even said him he was on the block how it was necessary to get rid of ED and Dani. Why are the HOH's so scared of breaking up ED and Dani, I dont get it. Well it is a double eviction week, so its all good.emmmm hmmmmm..lol
