Big Brother 8: Live feeds update - more Sept. 7
Inside the Big Brother 8 house, the second Head of Household competition has been completed -- remember, Evel Dick won the first one shown on the live double eviction show Thursday night. It was a short reign, with the second comp starting pretty much as the show ended here on the East Coast. The new Head of House has made nominations for the next eviction. No, really. Would I just be telling you a spool of lies? I wouldn't do that to you, I swear on the life of my first (now long deceased) pet!
For severe show spoilers, read on past the jump.
Earlier today, I let you in on the fact that Zach won the second Head of House comp. He's put his game on, hasn't he? He told Jameka that he planned to have her key in the box for the nominations ceremony. What his plan seems to be at this point is to cozy up to Jameka, keep her in the final three so that the nominations remain the same, and have her vote Daniele off. Zach wants the final three to be himself, Jameka and Evel Dick.
From watching, if I take that a step further -- while Zach has told Jameka he'd be happy to receive the second place money, I think he wants a final two of himself against Evel Dick. He certainly doesn't want Daniele in there, but I believe he thinks he might have a chance at a win against Dick because of Dick's behavior in the game.
The nominations went down according to his earlier discussion with Jameka. Zach put Daniele and Dick on the block despite the efforts of the Donatos to make him put up one of them and Jameka. Daniele's whining and temper tantrum didn't help her cause, neither did Dick's quasi-attempt at intimidation laced with a bit of reason. At least, reason for his own cause, that is.
All will hinge on the Power of Veto winner during this round.
As Head of House, Zach can't vote for eviction. If either Donato wins POV, it doesn't matter which one is saved. The saved Donato forces Jameka to be put on the block as she's the only one eligible to be nominated. The saved Donato then has the sole vote to vote out Jameka.
If Jameka wins POV, she can't use it. The nominations remain the same and one Donato (Daniele if she abides by Zach's request) goes home as she (Jameka) would be the sole vote for eviction.
If Zach wins POV, the nominations remain the same unless he breaks his word to Jameka -- which I don't think will happen. Jameka is once again the sole vote for eviction and a Donato goes home.
So, they can fuss, whine, scheme, and plan all they want to no avail right now. It's all going to hinge on the Power of Veto competition and we're looking at a definite 2-2 rivalry. Tomorrow is the Power of Veto competition which will be blocked to the feeds, but I will hear the results and get them out to you.
Both Tuesday and Thursday are live eviction shows this week, knocking us down to the final two by the end of the week. It's getting close, folks! Another season just about in the can. It's been an odd season indeed.
