Prison Break: Orientacion (season premiere)

Prison Break: Orientacion
(S03E01) So, am I wrong in thinking that this season could very well make up for, what I considered, a lackluster second season? I certainly hope I'm not wrong. While I gave up reviewing the show last season, I can't help but still be sucked into watching this show, and based on this episode (and the next, which I got to see as well), I'm once again excited to see what happens next.

I don't have a whole lot more to add this time around, since I've already said my peace piece in my early look post. Whether we decide to continue to review this show here every week remains to be seen, though.

How promising does this make the season look?
Not at all. Fail.53 (9.6%)
It could have been better.108 (19.6%)
This season's going to rock. Prison Break FTW!391 (70.8%)

I saw the red lights too! I'm on Charter cable in Johnson City, Tennessee. I've seen the lights on previous episodes and thought they may have some kind of "can you spot the red lights" promotion thing...altho no clever gimmick is coming to mind...

well, i really didn't like it... so it's season one all over again, only in a new prison & with no blue print this time?

oh yeah that sounds new, and exciting.

i'm in Boston using RCN - seemed very strange to see it on both shows in the same spot of the screen.

johnnymac, I saw the two red lights, too. You're not crazy, and it's not your DVR. If you say they were in the other show, too, then it sounds more like a technical error having to do with the Fox signal, or the cable operator. I'm using Comcast in Washington D.C. -- where are you? If same, then it was a local problem.

did anyone else notice about halfway through the episode there was a scene (forget what was going on) where two glowing red lights appeared near the bottom of the screen. at first i thought they were lasers from a gun, but then nothing happened. then i noticed it again while watching k-ville. both shows i watched from my dvr.

I like how Michael never takes off his sweatshirt/long sleeved Tee combo, cause tattoos are expensive and time consuming. You think it may have helped in the fight to show off that you're completely sleeved out.

A little too gritty for my tastes--I'm glad the rape scene was scrapped.

I hope the plot cleans up fast, I'll give it a few weeks.

Lincoln has top billing this season, it's about time!

Ya know how in the UK they say Series instead of season, when referring to a show having new episodes. Well thats how I look at Prison Break.

This is the Third Series of prison break, they're more like movie sequels than continuations of an ongoing story.

When first watching, I thought Prison Break had a good start. However, when they brought in the objective from the people outside, it felt like it sucked the steam right out of their engine. I never liked "The Company" or the conspiracy in general, so it now looks like they've got another one to deal with. I don't know exactly what to think, but I'll give it a shot. They better stop after this season though, or else it'll be absolutely off-the-wall.

Galley, you aren't supposed to ask that question. Something about ignorance being bliss...
