I can't believe it! The first time I ever posted a comment here and Brigitte put it in the spotlight -- with Patrick, who in my mind is a TV Squad Daily icon!! I was already a fan, but now I'm buying the t-shirt.

And I feel bad because I stole the whole Barry/Jiminy Cricket thing from the radio. Now I want to steal from Dave and say that he DOES look like Barbara Walters! Maybe Big Bird is THEIR love-child?

Hey Brigitte and fellow "commenters"..Isnt it a waste of talent and beauty to see Brigitte fathfully deliver us irrelevent news from TV land about how the entertainment industry let us down with ugly, shallow, overly rich, fat, dimwitts we so look up to......Oprah...for one. Brigitte should be making the news not faking the news....I dont know what they are paying her but maybe she would enjoy jounalism of a differnt caliber? I would very willing to help with this. Also Brigitte I am "disinclined to acquest to your request" about talking like a pirate yesterday...real pirates dont follow the rules they are more like "guidelines". ...as far as suing for stealing jokes goes... THAT'S a joke. In fact, NBC News Anchor Tom Brokaw once came onto David Letterman's show, interrupting Dave's opening monologue, grabbed a couple of cue cards and told Dave, "You can't tell these jokes. These jokes are the artistic property of NBC!" Then he walked off stage.

It was far more tongue in cheek than, say, Andy Kaufman, who always pressed the envelope and left his audience asking, "Is this a joke?"
