Dark or Not I think the show is hilarious

Was Jorge Garcia the painter? The guy that wouldn't take Larry's sweaty $50 bill? My wife and I are fighting over weather or not that was Jorge, and no, I didn't catch the credits.

This show has always been painful to watch and hilarious... until recently. I have always been ready to suspend my disbelief, especially for great scenes with funny actors. I particularly like the episode where Larry hired a hooker so he could drive in the carpool lane to Dodger Stadium. I love that episode for the scenes with the hooker and the scenes with Larry's dad. I used to love the scenes with Jeff Garlin and Cheryl. Lately it seems like Larry has nobody really funny with which to play out his scenes. The people in the family living with them are uninteresting. Even the scenes with Cheryl and Jeff are lacking in sparkle. Suzie is over the top with her rages. She used to be much funnier than she has recently become. She's too much. The others are not enough. I miss Wanda Sykes. The show is just not as funny as it used to be.

Sure most of the time Larry is an ASs but you gotta love 'em. He makes my luck seem 'not so bad'. Love everyone in the show. Gets better and better...

Who makes the belle fille perfume...is that the correct spelling...and where can I purchase it?

What is the correct name and spelling of the perfume which they spelled as "belle fille"...and where can I get it?

I don't think that this season is particularly dark, at least not when compared to other seasons of CYE. The show has always been dark. What about last season when Larry didn't want to save Richard Lewis' life? Or how about everyone fighting over his money immediately after they think he's dead? You can even go back to Seinfeld with the death of Susan or the finale putting them all in jail. Larry has always had a dark sense of humor.

This season has been great so far - Little Orphan Funkhauser!

Last night was the first true instant that I felt this would wind up being CYE's last season. The way the show is headed, it seems as if David wants the viewing public to be just as disgusted as his on-air family and friends.

When I use disgusted, I don't mean not-funny because CYE is still as funny as ever but I feel that David is actually trying to push the buttons of viewers in a much different way and I like it but I can imagine being fed up by season's end.

I couldn't stop cracking up to this episode last night. I'm loving this season. It seems that there is an emphasis on Larry making incredibly stupid decisions and never getting away with them. it's hilarious.

Dark or not, it's still humor & I think our friend Mr. Toomey is taking this season way too seriously. To me, if you are dealing with inappropriate behavior, it is going to border on dark humor most of the time anyway.

After all, didn't Larry: 1) pretend to be a incest survivor, 2) use his mom's death to get sex, 3) steal a golf club from a funeral casket, 4) invite a sex offender to sedar, 5) buy a hooker just so he could ride in a car pool lane.....the list is endless. Funny, but endless.

I am very pleased with this season so far. I have laughed constantly at this season & we are only 3 episodes in. If they keep this up, it may even surpass the 3rd season as the best. Good old reliably wrong Larry. He's the best (and worst).

ONE NOTE: Did anyone notice the big time blooper? The whole episode centered on the death of Funkhouser's mom. If you remember "The Weatherman" episode from season 4, at his dad's tribute, Funkhouser says quite clearly that his mom "passed away 10 years ago". It doesn't ruin the show, but you can't help but notice.
