America's Next Top Model: The Girls Go Rock Climbing

(S09E03) We're already at episode three of America's Next Top Model, and there's a definite villain emerging among this season's group of girls.
Had you asked me at the beginning who I thought the evil one was going to be, I'd have probably gone with Ebony. Turns out it's going to be Bianca, and I have a feeling she's going to make last cycle's resident demon (Renee) look like Mother Teresa when it's all said and done.
Here is some of the evil Bianca let loose on her peers during the show:
- She intentionally gave some bad advice to one of the girls to sabotage her runway walk.
- She verbalized the fact that she thinks Heather gets the pity vote due to her disabilities.
- She gets into a shouting match with Saliesha and called her "borderline plus size." Keep in mind Saleisha much closer to "borderline too skinny." That cat fight led to the following rant:
- "I will hit them where it hurts. I don't need to fight you to hurt you. I could really hurt you in this competition. I have no problem doing it. I will get real grimey. I'll start cutting up clothes. I could break these bitches down one by one. I refuse to let these bitches think I'm not a real model. Don't let the red hair fool you bitches. I can be very high fashion. Okay!" The cutting up clothes line killed me.
- She actually compliments Heather later in the show, then immediately flushes the praise down the toilet by saying something about "needing to knock her down because she's doing to well and could hinder her own chances of winning." Awesome.

The first piece of real business we saw tonight took place in Miss J's Fashion Madhouse, which ended up being a spooky looking psychiatric ward. Sadly, the scariest part of this sequence was seeing Miss J in a nurses outfit.
The models were stuffed into straight jackets and critiqued on how their model walk looked while in an outfit that limited movement. Saleisha definitely had the most polished walk, but that's to be expected considering she graduated from Tyra Camp.
On the other end of the spectrum stood Heather and Victoria (the latter of which I will now refer to as "Yale" since she brings up her Ivy league education frequently enough). I don't want to be too hard on the them, but neither would have too big a problem masquerading as a mummy or zombie this Halloween. I really hope they can loosen up a bit with their walking and overall demeanor as I'm finding myself to be a fan of the endearingly dorky duo.
The straight jacket walking was really just a lead-up to tonight's couture runway challenge in which the girls found themselves in guady
Let me be the first to admit that I don't know jack about jack when it comes to this couture style of fashion. I really just don't get it. Unless they were about to attend a party being thrown by Bjork, someone would have to be on a 24-hour crack binge to even consider wearing one of these outfits in public. I found most of the dresses to be repulsive, but I am a male and admittedly pretty ignorant to this kind of stuff. Am I off base here? Did you all find these things attractive?

Aside from a weird intentional looking collision that took place between Sarah and Ebony, nothing of real note occurred during the runway challenge. Saleisha ended up taking home the prize which included modeling some of Colleen Quen's fabric explosions at a Paris fashion show at some point in the future.
Tonight's photo shoot melded rock climbing and high fashion - a natural combination if I've ever seen one. I kid, but for the most part, the photos came out really beautifully with the best photos of the night coming from Jenah, Lisa, Heather, and Sarah.
I know I picked Janet to win this thing, but I'm finding myself really liking the photos that Jenah has taken these first three weeks. When you see her during normal portions of the show she looks like any other average person you'd come across in everyday life. However, when she's all made up and in a photo she's absolutely stunning. I'm sticking with Janet, but Jenah's my dark horse.
The order of the photos:
Jenah
Heather
Lisa
Chantal
Sarah
Ambriel
Yale
Saleisha
Janet
Ebony
Bianca
I honestly can't even remember the name of the girl who went home tonight (Kimberly?). That's how big of an impression she's made on me this cycle. As far as I'm concerned, the judges made the right decision.
