Akbar- Patriot Resource has some spoilers/speculation that indicates Cain was elsewhere at the time of Husker's adventure. Although, your notion would have been good dramatically speaking.

WTF!!!! BSG will start in april!!!!, when they change the premier date??!!!, and in the top split the season!!!!! THESE IS TOO MUCH, and the sad part is that i can't do anything (can't spot watching right??....... we are so screw)

BSGfan, I do recall a spoiler about Razor stating we would see Cain as a young girl traumatized by the war causing her hatred to help shape who she becomes. Wouldn't be much of a stretch based off of that "little girl" comment.

Akbar- You may be on to something. That would make her over the top actions (Silla, killing her XO etc.) more understandable.

bsgfan, I read that article too and wondered about the "little girl," I think Hurtzel gave something away we haven't seen yet. I went back and reviewed my copy of the razor clip (captured at 640x352) and while I did see numerous things reflected in the Cylon but I couldn't make anything at at that resolution and with TV signal noise.

DVD version in December will probably answer that question.

ooooooh, here is a thought! PURE SPECULATION ALERT:

So say there is a little girl that Adama finds here and rescues. What if it is a young Helena Cain? Didn't Cain and Adama have some form of familiarity? (sounds like a reason to go rewatch Pegasus)

I read an interview (Galactica TV) that stated - In the scene where Adama beats the Centurion, Adama's reflection and that of the "little girl" can be seen in the Centurion metal. I have not had a chance to review it yet, so I'm not sure what it means.

Flesh? I don't think so cathode. However it is possible. The emphasis placed on Adama checking out the "fluid" on his chin after beating the Centurion could very easily been blood or oil or a synthetic bio-oil that could easily lead to early experiments in hybrids.

Does the Centurion appear to have flesh in his chest when Adama finishes beating it up? It's hard to tell on such a low-rez clip. Nice bit of setup for the later humanoid Cylons if it is...
