Here's the story...

The animated Brady KidsThere is a treat for all fans of The Brady Bunch over at AOL TV. As part of their "Where are they now?" series, AOL TV is providing the current stats on all your favorite BB cast members.

Some of them have been more high profile than others. Christopher Knight (Peter) is, of course, well-known to today's reality show fans. He was a cast member on The Surreal Life where he met and fell in love with America's Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry. The two of them went on to star on their own reality series My Fair Brady which ended with their wedding.

Another Brady who has stayed on television thanks to VH1 is Maureen McCormick (Marcia). As a competitor on Celebrity Fit Club Maureen found more fans who were available to buy her upcoming country album.

The article goes on to catch us up with the other members of the Brady clan including Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby), Susan Olsen (Cindy) and Barry Williams (Greg) who continues to cash in on the Brady name by hosting a 70's themed radio show on Sirius and starring in a musical revue entitled "Growing Up 70's."

The profiles continue with the show's supporting characters like Robbie Rist (Cousin Oliver) who's currently a musician and movie producer. There's also Allan Melvin (Sam the Butcher) who is currently retired and living in Michigan and Rita Wilson (Pat) who, I understand, continued acting and even went on to marry another actor who has earned a few awards for his work.

They even tell us the current whereabouts of 70's icons Joe Namath and Davy Jones but fail to update us on the current status of Desi Arnaz Jr.

Amazingly, all the cast members are still alive and in fairly good health, with the exception of Robert Reed. Thankfully, Reed's most brilliant work lives on in the Brady Bunch Variety Hour.

Glad to hear it, Horsenbuggy. Actually, there was an intermediate step between Chamberlain and Barry Williams--Corbin Bernsen. Sort of B-list, but he had the look at least. But Greg Brady--no way!

Happy to say that I saw the Sound of Music with Richard Chamberlain, not Barry Williams. Who on earth ever thought Barry Williams could play a role made famous by Christopher Plummer? No. No. No. No. No. And, uh, no.

Cripes, does anyone NOT know where they are now? I mean, yes, the show was a cultural icon, but there seem to be Brady Bunch reunions of one kind or another every other year. This particular cast is not exactly obscure or unknown, why in the world does AOLTV feel that yet another "update" on them is necessary?

I always found it encouraging how more or less okay the kids from the Brady Bunch turned out. Not without a few bumps, but generally they seemed to all find a degree of happiness and fulfillment in their lives.

Do we get to hear for the eleventy-billionth time how Barry Williams made out with Florence Henderson?

I was once going to see the road production of Sound of Music, only by the time it reached my town, Richard Chamberlain as the Captain had been replaced by Barry freakin' Williams. Not groovy!!
