George Burns, Gracie Allen, Ronnie BurnsA roundup of TV people from in front of the camera and behind the scenes who have passed away.

  • Ronnie Burns: He was the son of George Burns and Gracie Allen and played himself on The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show and The George Burns Show. He also appeared in other TV shows, including The Honeymooners, Playhouse 90, The Jack Benny Show, and Happy. He died of cancer at age 72 in Pacific Palisades, CA.
  • Bernard L. Kowalski: He was one of the great veteran TV directors, directing such shows as Magnum, P.I., Mission: Impossible, Knight Rider, Diagnosis: Murder, Columbo, Baretta, Gunsmoke, Banacek, The Streets of San Francisco, The Wild, Wild, West, The Untouchables, Perry Mason, and many others. He also directed the movies The Attack of the Giant Leeches, Krakatoa: East of Java, Terror in the Sky, and SSSSSSS. He died in Los Angeles at age 78.

  • Deborah K. Lee: She was a location manager on several TV productions, including Law and Order and a Kojak movie. She was also a producer of such movies as Prizzi's Honor and Imaginary Heroes and worked on Cape Fear, The Greek Tycoon, and Mad Dog and Glory. Before all that she was an assistant to Mama Cass. She died in Los Angeles at age 58.

  • Mary Ann Henderson: She was the director of late night programming at both ABC and CBS and was a daytime programming exec at ABC and NBC. She also worked on The 10,000 Pyramid and other shows. She died of a lung ailment in Burbank, CA at age 66.

  • Jack Kuney: He was a producer for several TV shows, including Look Up And Live, 1-2-3 Go, and a 1961 TV version of Waiting For Godot. He died of heart failure in Bradenton, FL at age 88.
