by Bob Sassone, posted Nov 21st 2007 6:01PM
Macy's ParadeOK, so we all know that Thanksgiving Day means football, football, football, NFL and college, and several networks (including CBS and FOX) will satisfy those fans. But there's more to Thanksgiving than that. What follows after the jump is a list of all of the other shows you can watch tomorrow, if you can get the remote control away from your brother-in-law or uncle. Lots of marathons and Thanksgiving-themed episodes.
  • AMC is showing Alfred Hitchcock movies all day and night.
  • At 7am, NBC's Today Show, ABC's Good Morning America, and CBS' Early Show will all have Thanksgiving features, including cooking tips and reports from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
  • At 8, Bravo has a Top Chef marathon.
  • Sci-Fi has a Ghost Hunters marathon at 8.
  • TCM has a marathon of Andy Hardy movies starting at 8.
  • At 9, NBC and CBS have coverage of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (NBC is full, official coverage, CBS has highlights).
  • Comedy Central has Steve Martin trying to get home for Thanksgiving in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.
  • TLC has a Little People, Big World marathon starting at 9.
  • GSN has a Family Feud marathon starting at 9.
  • Also at 9: G4 has a marathon of The Jamie Kennedy Experiment.
  • At 9:30, Food Network starts a whole day of Thanksgiving-themed programming.
  • At 10, TV Land has an I Love Lucy marathon.
  • TBS has a marathon of Thanksgiving Fresh Prince of Bel Air episodes at 10.
  • At 11, Spike TV has the MLE Chowdown: The Turkey Bowl, where contestants compete to see who can eat a 20 lb. turkey the quickest (don't try this at home).
  • You can watch Martha Stewart's Thanksgiving Special on Fine Living at 11 and see what you're doing wrong.
  • At noon, NBC has The National Dog Show.
  • ESPN has a 2007 World Series of Poker marathon at noon.
  • At 2, NBC has Miracle on 34th Street.
  • Between 4 and 8 (check listings), your local stations will have Turkey Day episodes of several shows, including Malcolm in the Middle, Frasier, Two and a Half Men, and Still Standing.
  • At 5, HBO Comedy has a Curb Your Enthusiasm marathon.
  • At 6:40, Encore has Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Check your local TV listings for more.

Is it old Family Feud or new?

Definitely, play your video games on Thanksgiving. I recommend "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune" for PS3 or "Super Mario Galaxy" for Wii. These games aren't too hard to find, and they offer a lot of enjoyment you will not find while watching an inflated Pikachu go by Matt Lauer.

I think I'll stick with football or play Halo 3.
