It's too bad the WGA is on strike because somebody needs to write another sitcom for Craig T. Nelson. When Earl finally does get out of prison, I will truly be saddened by the warden's absence. Maybe Earl can get a job working for the warden after he gets released?

The more residents of Camden County and the surrounding area I meet, the more convinced I am that their drinking water is tainted.

It reminds of Springfield on The Simpsons. Every single resident is damaged in some way. The cops are inept, the richest man in town is a eunuch and the town celebrity is a drunken Tim Stack. Remember when Earl took a teaching job? The students were borderline sociopaths and the teachers were felons!

It's a small thing but one of my favorite quirks of Earl is the tendency to call people by nicknames that aren't very clever. There's always "crabman', for example but tonight's episode gave us a brief introduction to "church guy." So named, I assume, because all he talks about are church-related topics.

Now here's a question for all of you "Get back to the list" supporters. If Earl spends all his money to get out of prison, he will have to get a job. If he is working his job full time, when will he have time to address his list? Randy can't keep his job at the prison because, as we've already seen, Earl needs him to complete the list. Quite the conundrum, eh?

Clearly, I'm not the only one to consider this problem. So as the warden shreds Earl's certificates, we are forced to ask ourselves... will Earl get out of prison early? Will the warden force Earl to continue helping him? Will Earl and the other inmates ever realize that they are incarcerated in a prison that anyone can escape from? Well, if you watched next week's previews, you know it's the last one.

It seems to me that karma has finally let Earl down or at least that's the way he will see it. It probably has something to do with that fact that he was only helping people because of the promise of a reward. Karma is tricky like that. Just when you've got it all figured out, the wheel spins and, once again, you are karma's bitch.
