Kiefer Sutherland starts 24(x2) day jail sentence

Kiefer SutherlandKiefer Sutherland has reported early for his jail sentence, according to this Yahoo! article. He was sentenced Wednesday for his drunk driving arrest in October, his second in three years. While he could have waited until February 12th to begin his sentence, the Emmy-winning actor instead opted to begin immediately. This may be because he'd rather get it out of the way now while production is halted on 24 due to the strike. I wonder if he and the inmates will sit around and watch old episodes of 24 on prison TV. (Are they allowed to watch Prison Break in prison?)

If they're smart they'll have camera crews follow him around the whole time. Just think, they could film the next forty-eight seasons of 24 right here. Screw the writers strike! And for all those people bitching that 24 has gotten stale and they need to shake up the formula, here you go! And now FOX has guaranteed programming for the next forty-eight years. Who cares that Sutherland will be 88 when the last season airs, he'll still be 40 on our TVs. It'll be LEGEN... wait for it... dary!

Come on people , Keifer is is a great Emmy winning actor. Shows he is human, I'm sure he's thinking about his mistake . We've all done something stupid and paid for it.
I like 24 and Jack Bauer will be back better than ever .

Keifer Sutherland is a great actor, as demonstrated by all the people who watch 24. His father is also a great actor, to compare the two is an ignorant evil thing to do. Anyone who likes to judge actors, should try acting...it's not as easy as you think.

Keifer clearly screwed up with the DUI but he's taking full responsibilty. Jack will be back and I seriously don't think his DUI will hurt his career or 24, since Bauer makes mistakes but always comes through when it counts...(:

yeah, but it's a really good mugshot, doncha think?

i love 24, but i really hope he gets his life in order. drunk drivers kill people. it's ridiculous. the man could hire a driver - how it is these filthy rich people ever ended up busted for DUI escapes me.

Whilst Lawman too has a point about Donald Being a better actor than his Son, I think your comments are a tad on the harsh side, Keifer is a Fine actor and he makes 24 extremely watchable! The Drunk driving on the other hand is Unnaccetable and he is being punished for it! Lack of judgement Yes, bad actor not so much!
