More Don't Forget the Lyrics coming your way!

Don't Forget the LyricsProbably in preparation for a long strike and also because this type of show is easy programming that not only brings in fair enough ratings but also does rather well in reruns, FOX announced earlier this week that it was ordering 13 extra episodes of it's music-contest hit Don't Forget the Lyrics.

Wayne Brady and company will continue to guide contestants through a Who Wants to be a Millionaire-inspired game that has participants sing their way to the top prize of a million dollars instead of answering questions. Contestants choose a song from a provided very short list, and then try to sing alongside the studio band with the help of lyrics projected on a screen. After a few seconds of Karaoke singing, the lyrics disappear, the band stop playing and the contestant must continue the song. If they succeed, they move up the prize ladder.

Don't Forget the Lyrics airs on Thursdays on FOX with reruns on Fridays.

I am a disabled paramedic, and a single mother of a GREAT 15 yearold son.
We watch your show every thursday night on our "family game show night"!
My son says "Mom you can win on this show and we wont have to worry about our electric being shut off anymore, or not having food to eat, PLEASE MOM GO ON THE SHOW".
So I am begging for a chance to come on your show and show my son to always follow his dreams.

Hey, I am a 48 year old grandmother of 18, and I would love to come on your show and try and win some money! Then you could see what a grandmother of 18 looks like. By the way I use to watch " Who's Line Is It" all the time. I really enjoy it the most when Wayne was on it! I love him! And I adore the show. I would really love to try out. I am from a family that has always sang together as young girls. And both of our parents sang and played music. So I think I would be a fair contestant. Please Give Me A Chance!
