Lost season four trailer - VIDEO

LostLost may only return in February (or April according to some nasty rumors!) but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy some season 4 footage. The show has pieced together a trailer that currently airs in US movie theaters. Thanks to the magic of YouTube, the trailer made its way to the net.

The trailer features scenes from past seasons as well as new footage taken from the upcoming season. The clip isn't that spoilerish but does offer a few good tidbits (and clues) to chew on while waiting for the season premiere.

I won't spoil anything here but you may want to pay close attention to what Ben says and the fast montage of pictures, one showing the number 6 and another displaying a new hatch logo (if you want to know more about the number 6, read our latest Spoilers Anonymous feature).

What do you think of this trailer? Can you find the hidden clues? If so, post below!

ABC is supposed to reveal its winter schedule later today, so we will get confirmation as to if Lost will resume in February. Eight episodes were written before the strike started and all of them will be completed.

In order to ensure that we would get a good series finale, ABC and the Lost people came up to an agreement that the series would go on until (and including) season 6. Seasons 4 to 6 are set to each have 16 episodes (although, Season 5 may get more since only 8 Season 4 episodes were completed before production had to shut down because of the strike).

the new symbol looks like its the mythical "Hydra" which had the body of a serpent with many heads .

I went through the season four trailer frame by frame and it is definitely Charlie standing in front of Hurley. Meanwhile, the logo is more of an abstract shape that might represent a scorpion or a spider.

Also visible is what looks like a rescuer - someone in a helmet looking down.

Another images shows Locke bending down to look at a woman laying on the ground with her eyes closed. The profile could be Kate or perhaps a new character.

The number 6 just reinforces my theory that the island is really The Village from The Prisoner.

It looks like Charlie is all cleaned up, so maybe a vision. I also saw a cow, a skull of what looked like a sabretooth tiger, an arm with a dark liquid (blood?) dripping onto it, a pile of lemons and limes (maybe a shoutout to Sprite's Sublymonal campaign?) and a shack on fire and Jack shooting someone.

I thought I saw Charlie with a crew cut toward the end looking pissed. Is that what the last couple post were talking about?

yes. if you go to the link I posted previously, you can see each frame from this vid. The shots of "crew cut Charlie" are quite clear.

Is the last image of the montage Charlie, wearing a leather jacket? Is that an old clip or will he be back somehow?

It is definitely Charlie in some kind of a jacket. Also looks like Hurley is in front of him.
