A roundup of TV people from in front of the camera and behind the scenes who have passed away.
- John McPherson: He was an Emmy-winning cinematographer, having worked on such shows as Amazing Stories, Baywatch, St. Elsewhere, Voyagers, The Incredible Hulk, Kojak, and movies such as Jaws: The Revenge, batteries not included, and Fletch Lives. He was also a director, on such shows as Babylon 5, JAG, Nash Bridges, Beverly Hills, 90210, Sliders, Strange Luck, Alien Nation, and The Incredible Hulk. He died last month at age 65.
- James Costigan: He was a TV writer who won Emmys for the TV movies Love Among The Ruins and Eleanor and Franklin. He also wrote for several classic TV shows, including Studio One, Hallmark Hall of Fame, General Electric Theater, Kraft Television Theater, and The United States Steel Hour and TV movies. He also wrote the big screen movies The Hunger, King David, and Mr. North. He died of heart failure at age 81.
- Catherine Wearing: She was a producer on several UK TV shows and movies, including Rose & Maloney, Bodily Harm, Our Mutual Friend, and A Mug's Game. She was also a script editor on Persuasion, Natural Lies, and A Dark Adapted Eye. She died in her sleep at age 41.
