I agree Mel. I know the procedural reviews like CSI and L&O would become repetivive, probably boring to write about and read, but SVU and CI are extremely character-driven (kind of like NCIS - which is a completely different animal. I care more about Elliot and Olivia and their damaged souls and how they cope with their cases and jobs more than the sex crime du jour; and Goren and Eames completely MAKE CI. Noth is great and his female partner of the week so far hasn't impressed me (prob the writing). The cases are interesting but secondary. Even though D'Onfrio (sp) seems to gain about 50lbs each time we see him he's a brilliant actor. I really don't care about the lbs. I love that actor ad his backstory - Eames too.

I love how Eames is his boss or lead det. in their partnership now. Goren went from eccentric but a brilliant detective to a borderlike schizophrenic this season. I hope he doesn't crash and burn and end up quitting the force and leaving the show.
